Wokitup! Amaroo

The standards have fallen through the floor, their pad thai has become the worst we've ever had anywhere in Canberra.
It was nothing but boiled vegetables with tasteless shreds of chicken.
And their staff is daydreaming or high as a kite whenever I interact with them.

I took out my meal home and this is the third time that I m getting wrong order. The customer service was terrible and started arguing with me instead of just changing my order. Never going back there.

We have tried this shop few times and have mostly disappointed with quality of food. Mainly overcooked and burnt noodles or rice. Also they don’t answer calls, tried calling them atleast 10 times in 30 mins since they gave me wrong order. Avoid this place.

On Saturday at 8: 20pm visited the store while it was open to be the turned back from the inside no service was provided all staff in a hurry to close shop. Not good service.

Used to order from gungahlin wokitup but this time Ordered fried rice from Amaroo, rice is completely dry and not properly cooked. I think it was Indian rice. I Called the store, first person said had a different cook today and then was passed to a lady (May be owner or manager I would say). She said every wokitup is different and they use different ingredients. So totally not worth it for $14 spend.
Won’t visit Wokitup Amaroo again.

I am absolutely disgusted by the customer service I have received by the staff (including the manager) at the Amaroo Wok it Up. If you want quality food worth your pending then DO NOT go to this store. My order was extremely tasteless despite paying extra for veggies. I called up the manager and he stated that I was lying and that he believed customers have no right to complain about the food. In years of working in hospitality myself I have never experienced such rude, disrespectful and unprofessional communication between a customer and manager.

Had an absolutely delicious meal (Chilli crab and 2 spag bols). Plenty of meat and flavor in all the dishes (and if my kids give a meal 5 stars, then you're on to something good) And as usual kind and courteous staff. We'll be back this weekend!

Worst customer service i have ever had - ordered 2 boxes and got home and they were tasteless. Call the store and advised them with the issues and they refused to do anything about it and practically said i am lying. Don’t waste your money and this is not the first time - WOERST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Couldn’t have been happier with my meal. Ordered wokfit chicken curry and SSPork Arrived hot, the order was exactly as ordered and super tasty! Thanks Wokitup! Amaroo Ordered via Menulog as I wanted delivery.

Friendly staff and awesome food! I have tried all the noodle box combinations apart from the sweet and sour. They are all fantastic! If you like noodles, you can't go wrong.

Ordered online and requested the items to be Gluten Free. Not only were none of the items GF when I arrived, I had to order two more items at cost, and ordered one of the same dishes which was then made gluten free (fried rice). Disappointed with the lack of service, understanding and flexibility of meals. Close to nothing in the main meals displayed on the menu were gluten free due to sauces. Will not come back.

I'll also add that after eating the items, my husband was fairly ill over the next few days (due to the requested items not being GF).

This location is my favourite noodle box type place in Canberra. They do good work but be aware they get really busy in peak times and so wait times can be a bit long.

The restaurant is cleaner and tidier than the other one in Gungahlin. However, the food taste isn’t always the same for some reasons. When I ordered Laksa Noodle Soup at the first time, it was extremely delicious but it was very salty at the second time. Same to Nasi Goreng Fried Rice, it’s sometimes tasty, sometimes fine and sometimes tasteless. Probably, the quality of the food depends on the cook’s mood

Really bad customer service.had to wait for more than 30min after ordering.they just kept the food aside and did not call the number.after i went as asked they just gave me the food, which was not hot as they cooked 30 min ago and just kept it.please note that customers are paying money for this.so give them quality food on time.lazy bunch of people.never go there again.

Ordered two vegetarian boxes today and was VERY disappointed that they both consisted mainly out of noodles and barely had any vegetables in them. One had tofu which was also very dry and chewy.
I’ve eaten here before and have never come across this problem however I will reconsider visiting this store if this is how they will continue to do their portions.

Ordered takeaway at 8: 52 pm when the store closes at 9 pm. Rocked up at 9 pm & order was ready. Excellent service!

Inedible laksa purchased today at lunch time. Will have a word with the chef next time I am in Amaroo.

Foods standard fair with any other wokit up, but I always get happy staff. They always get my order right and they are always kind.
I dont mind the wait, and I've never had a bad experience here with either food or service.

I ask for a Mongo and i am still looking for the meat and tasted burnt what am i paying for? Noodles and Veg.

Burnt too many times!
Have ordered from Wokitup! A few times. Rice is smoky and veggies pretty much burnt. Leaves not very nice taste in your mouth, not recommended and probably won't go back again.
