Waited days for an appointment, then more in the waiting room, just to be denied medication due to personal beliefs. Usually good, happy with my regular GP and other services.

Five stars for the GPs, I have been seeing GPs in this medical Centre in the last four years, especially Dr. Newbery & Dr. Flanagan! I know the waiting time could be more than 1 hour, but my friends whom seeing these two doctors they would say it’s worth for waiting!

While most of the staff (nurses, counsellers and receptionists) are very sweet. The 2 GPs I saw were very unhelpful and judgmental when I came in for mental health issues. Also, the psychiatrist, Dr Virginia McAndrew has made me do multiple costly tests before setting an appointment, which she ended up never doing for 5 months now. I am very disapointed with the way she deals with students that struggle with mental health.

Dr Weekes is the best Doctor we have ever had. She is kind, and very knowledgeable - fantastic family doctor!

I would never recommend to visit here. Every time I visit this center i have to wait more than couple of hours from my appointment time.

I was disappointed when I heard that if you don't have Medicare you cannot receive the Covid Vaccine at this centre. The Australian government is trying to get the whole population vaccinated, what this clinic is doing is completely the opposite idea. As an UC student and an UC employee I find this unacceptable. I called the other clinics and they told me I could receive a vaccine even though I have OSHC. I don't understand the reason why this clinic decides to do this to International Students. This should be considered as a discrimination against overseas students.

I booked my appointment and arrived pretty early. I came to the desk to check in, answer some questions and was told about the fee. Everything was nice until I have to wait for more than half an hour. I then come to the desk and wait to cancel the appointment because I’m late for another appointment. Is that how the centre works?

My appointment was at 2: 30pm and I waited for only 5mins to see my GP.

UC medical center recently changed all admin and reception staff.
New staff is untrained and working there without having knowledge as well as new nurses.
For flu vaccine they booked me with mental health doctor and I waited 1: 15 hours.

Long long long wait! 30 minutes to more than an hour waiting despite you have booked an appointment. Very disappointed to be patient here! 20$ more charge on international students which is not available for refund from private insurance. Wants to send my documents to other doctor for 40$. Only plus-staff are kind

Medical: Incredibly long wait time over and over again. Most recently had to wait more than 2 hours without being seen. Definitely not recommended if you need to see a GP for any urgent matters
Counseling: Very punctual! Very helpful! They know what they're doing! Only quite a long waiting list but understandable

Almost wait there for 1.30 hour, even i had appointment. After asking them how long it will take, receptionist was keep on saying one patient ahead. When, I finally told them it has been 1.30 hr. She was like we can book you for another day. It is useless go there. Such a waste of time.

Friendly staff. Sometimes I have to wait a while before I see my doctor, but it due to my doctor been so kind to her patients and given them all the time they need; then, I do not mind waiting as I know when my turn comes, I will have all the attention I need:)

Dealing with a chronic injury the doctors are always super helpful and supportive. Often times I have needed a script on short notice to which they accomplish.

4 stars as the online booking system is unreliable and other admin issues.

This centre doesn’t even deserve to be given one start. I took my mum for an appointment and made us wait for 2 hours. I asked the reception what going on, I was then told, one last patient and then it will be you. After a while I ask them again, same answer. I got really frustrated and cancelled my appointment after waiting for 2 hrs. Never ever coming back.

I have brought my daughter here for 5 times because we are UC student so no choice for other medical centres.
The only I complain is that it has been always 30 to 45 mins late to see the GP. I don’t understand what happens with the centre.
Please review your booking system and allow more space among each appointments.

I have been going here for 10 years, and I question why every time I come! I dont think i ever get to see the doctor within 30 minutes of my appointment time. Always waiting for 45minutes, even if you call ahead to ask if they are running late. You show up later and still wait 30+ minutes.
They definitly need to do something about spacing out their appointments.

Very unprofessional, doctor who don't bother introducing themselves, doesn't verbally acknowledge others, doesn't let you know you are next for a blood test until you asked.

Terrible experience. Booked an appointment online and never got to see the doctor. The other times the available doctor did not even bother to check on me.
