U & CO Cafe reviews
61Big portions, good food, and good coffee. What else do you need on Saturday morning. It was a line, but not a big one
Had a very nice lunch, Great coffee and wonderful service it's a credit to all of you.we will be back. Fliss is great coffee Barista
Visiting Canberra and stopped here for breakfast. We had the most welcoming and generous experience at this cafe. Highly recommend the food, coffee, exceptional customer service, and atmosphere!
Exemplary service, fantastic food and coffee. I ordered a (much needed) hangover wrap and a coffee; all of our food and drinks came out very quickly despite it being a busy time of morning. Definitely worth a visit.
Came for double egg and bacon roll in Turkish bread. It was delicious and the coffee was hot. It’s always busy here and the food is always nice. The coffee is made always nice. As a Giralang resident I like coming here after dropping the kids off at school on a day off because the service is always good.
If you are looking for a fantastic place to have a great feed in a Canberra then make your way to U & Co Cafe in Kaleen. Great place, great staff, wonderful food. I had the Hangover wrap. This wrap is legend status and I hope it is never removed from the menu. They are very accommodating if you have dietary requirements too. Mick has his troops working like a well oiled machine and they work even better when it's busy (which it quite often is due to how good this place is). Well.done U & Co. I will be back.
Stopped by the cafe on my morning walk. Had to leave my dog out front when I joined the queue inside. She's on a medical diet and I was anxious some al fresco patrons might feed her. The cafe owner noticed, met me in line and took care of the whole order so I could wait with her outside. Unbelievably good and compassionate service! (And the breakfast wraps and coffee were fantastic!)
Good cafe, worth a visit. However, be aware that even though it’s open till 3pm, the coffee machine gets switched off at 2: 30… I know you have to clean it, and staff have been on since 6am, but that’s not “open” as far as I’m concerned!
Great little cafe - food is good quality and generous. School kids employed to serve and they are polite and conscientious.
We had a fantastic family breakfast here. The food is delicious and fairly priced, and the portions are generous.
The service was remarkable. We will Geist again next time we are in the area.
My family and I are here just about every single for our morning coffee. The service is always next level and we are made to feel like family. It’s such a great place for little kids with their extra babycinos with sprinkles and stickers along with the great menu. The kids absolutely love Mick too and he’s always having a joke with them. All of the food is delicious and made in store or sourced locally. I love that they vocally support small-local businesses with sections dedicated to showcasing their items for sale.
Couldn’t recommend Mick and the team more. It just so happens that the coffee is bloody delicious. We will be life-long devotees!
A great local Cafe. Have eaten there twice and the staff have been exceptionally helpful with my dietary allergy. The rest of the group have enjoyed their meals too.
We have been told how good this place was for 2 years now and it did not disappoint! Lovely friendly staff with great coffee, tasty food, and loads of it! Looking forward to a return visit very soon.
Overall, really nice can be fairly busy! The only reason for 4 stars is that the last time I went, the food was dry.
Got caught in the rain on my walk and the lovely staff insisted I take one of their umbrellas to get home! 5/5 coffee too
A party of six for breakfast at their busiest time. Service was fast and friendly. The food really hit the spot. My triple short black was perfect. Too many cafes think it is ok to serve burnt bitter and cold short black that is not even a mouth full. Michael at U and Co got it right. I will be back.
The Legend roll tasted like mayonnaise and NOTHING else. I wish there were more meat options because I don't like bacon. Your coffee also tastes like bin juice, maybe get better coffee. Not coming here again.
I have been coming to U&Co Cafe for years.
These guys are always happy and super friendly. The food is great, and as Mick the owner tells me it's made with love.
Keep up the good work team.
There's not any safe foods for someone who struggles with a restrictive eating disorder. Would have loved to get some brunch with my friends, but unfortunately had to sit and drink black coffee while avoiding their questions about why I wasn't eating.
Very popular place so allow time if you plan to grab a quick cuppa before work. Have been there a few times and coffees have always been good. Can recommend it.
