36Overall okay, maybe just not to my personal liking. No table service as staff were busy serving the takeaway coffee crowd. I had scrambled eggs but wasn’t a fan of the uncooked egg remaining on top. Otherwise it was pleasant enough. I do like the coffee here.
Cosy cafe atmosphere perfect for a study session! I really enjoyed catching up and studying with my friend here. The interior is spacious and well lit, and I appreciated the subtle background music.
I got an iced latte ($5.70), which appeared to be the same price as any other large hot coffee. It had a bold coffee flavour, tasted pretty good, and regardless got me through the study session.
I like the vibes and would like to try their food some day too.
Cafe looked clean and interesting, and the staff were great.
They gave me a glass of milk for free, good people.
Great food and atmosphere - staff are always very lovely and kind. The space is very clean and amazinggg coffee. Have been a regular for over a year now!
Their food are soooo nice especially the chips seasoned and crispy. Kids want it at breakfast and they’re the only one in the area open so early. It saved up our trip to Canberra. Amazing customer service. I highly recommend it.
Friendly staff, quick service, flavourful, healthy, locally sourced food. I ate a bowl of sides, looking for a grain-free option not on the menu. It came out quickly, nicely presented. Potato hash was more interesting than I'd expected, too - maybe that was spring onion in it. Good coffee, lovely latte art (not always available with my almond milk preference, so always appreciated). (I had already taken a sip before the photo; it was even nicer than you can see.)
This is a great little relaxing cafe, with fantastic coffee and great service. Highly recommend the Aranda Garden Bowl!
First breakfast since arriving in Canberra. Friendly, welcoming staff and great food and coffee. Highly recommended. (And being from Hobart the location was quite inviting)
Stumbled onto this place by accident. The eggs and bacon were good with a nice thick slice of sourdough but the coffee (mocha) was lacking.
Gave us hard poached eggs and ask for another runny one but still the same, wasn't runny at all and paid extra $ for replaced eggs.
I live in NSW, and travel each month to Canberra for work. Over the years I've tried most cafes, and this has been my go to one for over 3 years now. Great quality and service. Batch brew especially hits well.
Great coffee and hazelnut cake, however there was a sign coffee and cake &7 mine costed $11 dollars.
Ruin my coffee vibe. Ordered a Mocha. Requested staff to make it with 2 coffee shots and full cream milk. However, That didn't even had a coffee taste nor felt the chocolate flavour and full cream not used as well. I'll never go again and don't recommend anyone as well.
Giving 2 stars only for good ambience otherwise it would be 1 star only.
Love the food and ambience here. The food here is always amazing and loaded toast tastes great. The staff here are welcoming and very friendly. This is a wonderful place and my go to for lunch.
The best place I’ve been for breakfast yet in Canberra.
Great service
Fantastic coffee.
Interesting food options and good sizes.
Plenty of seating
Good vibes, tucked away and open early!
I had the Granola which was very filling. All ingredients were quality, the honey though superb, the chocolate was lovely but could’ve been left out as it made a breakfast dish almost too sweet. I would have it again though. My long black was ok.
Near the 'original' Two Before Ten in the City, this light filled space provides a great place for a quick coffee before work, and tasty breakfast meeting spot after a ride or an innovative menu of local produce for lunch.
There is outdoor seating facing into an courtyard (Hobart Place) away from traffic, and inside tables for one to many. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the chef does a great job of using seasonal produce in producing innovative specials on the blackboard, as well as the standard menu.
Friendly staff but visited twice and didn't have great success with the food on both occasions. 1st time fruit toast was burnt and 2nd time eggs were so salty.
Have dropped the ball post covid - really terrible coffee, inappropriate mugs, expensive menu options and a lack of cleanliness inside.
