Tinker Tailor reviews
22 I’m here most weekends and I have never had a bad coffee or experience. Always fantastic service and coffee.
Can’t ask for much more than that
Piccolo is my regular take away coffee and these guys are amazing.one of the best coffees I ever had in Canberra
Good tasting pastries and coffee. However, staff willingness to answer questions about the coffee menu varies. Sometimes they are helpful, but on one occasion on a Thursday the young woman working at the counter in the afternoon, was rude when I asked.
Grab 2 coffees and sourdough loaf from Tinker Tailor. Coffees where good and the sourdough was just amazing!
Best fruit mince pie, fruitflan, and coffee on the north side of Canberra. Coffee was silky and smooth, and the service was 2nd to none.
This place varies from 3 to 5 stars. While the staff are friendly, the coffee can be anywhere from quite strong and very well made right through to weak and tasteless. I have also had sugar put into my coffee on 2 occasions when I did not ask for it: (
Why do I go back? Because sometimes the coffee is awesome.
Saw assistant clean floor with damp cloth then, without washing the cloth, used it to wipe down counter. I'll stay away from there!
A busy spot in the mornings, and it’s easy to see why. Good coffee, and super friendly team. I also had the freshest croissant from here - delish!
Always the most friendly & helpful staff
Would definitely recommend the bread & coffee as well
Excellent coffee/service and reasonable prices! Popularity of Tinker Tailor Barista Baker speaks for itself. Worth the effort to go out of your way.
I used to really like the coffee here but lately the coffee has been leaving a very bad after taste and not enjoyable to drink.
Great coffee, I ask for extra stirred so the sugar doesn't sit on the bottom and it's always delicious!
Good
-Decent coffee. Nice smell & strong taste.
-Friendly staff.
-Almond Croissant is strongly recommend!

Love the coffee but I dread having to order if there's one particular barista there. He is so rude and speaks to you with such disdain that it make me feel like I just ran over his mum with a car.
Coffee can be good. Service not so much.
EDIT Dec 2019: coffee is excellent and service has improved a lot.
Coffee is great but it depends on who makes it. There are two girls who are sometimes rostered on together who without a doubt will make a terrible coffee. It will either taste like warm milk, or burn your mouth completely. They could both do with some barista and customer service training. I no longer buy a coffee if they are on shift. Other than that, the bread and pastries are great.
Great service. We love going here with our family for a quick Saturday morning breakfast. The coffee, hot choc & babycinos are awesome, not to mention all the pastries. Thanks guys!
Terrible coffee (basically warm milk), bad service and wait times. Plus it's more expensive then Melbourne. If I could give a rating under 1 star, I would.
Coffee is average.
There is no "medium" it's actually called large.
So when I ordered a large I got a medium. Still paid $5 for it though which is pricey for a medium.
The crossiant is $6 super steep for an average crossiant.
