Thai Ayutthaya Restaurant

Ordered takeaway and only realised my order was wrong when I got home. I had ordered a noodle dish and what was given to me was just plain stir fried vegetables. I called to tell the restaurant but was offered no apology or compensation just that they were already closed and nothing they could do. The food we did order was also pretty poor, very dry satay chicken and a very watery Thai chicken curry. Such a shame.

The Pad Thai was way to chewy, the noodles must not have been cooked properly. The Mixed Entree was eh, nothing to exciting. And the soft drink was hardly cold. Disappointing, it is what it is.

Really great Thai, I have tried many of Thier dishes and have yet to find something I didn't enjoy.

This is a quiet little restaurant but the food is lovely, try the Tamarind Prawns and Chicken Larb, worth a visit. Lovely view of water too

Picked up some takeway and enjoyed food. It was authentic and my request for extra spice was duly met. Portions are not large in comparison to the price. Lovelylocation. Ambience is very goodspicw

I don't think this is the same restaurant we used to love. Today, we ordered the red curry seafood and all we got in it was a generous amount of soup with one piece of prawn, a tiny piece of fish and a calamari ring. No veggies either. The pad thai was almost flavourless and severely lacking in chicken meat. The whole order came to around $71 for the 2 servings of each the 2 dishes. Pathetic. Not to mention, that the take away took 45 mins after being told that it would only take 15 mins max. Never again.

Very friedly staff. The food is always very tasty and hot when the food is brought to the table.

The food here is really good. We especially love the Penang Thai Curry and the Pad Thai. Nice location for dine in and very friendly staff.

I love going to this restaurant with my family or friends. The food is delicious, service is great. The place is beautiful and invites you for a walk! I really recommend this family business

Authentic Thai, very tasty and quality food. Have had 3 meals there and nothing negative to report. Nice ambiance, decent attentive service, clean and warm (mid winter now). We've had 2 family meals there in recent weeks, 3 adults with entre, mains and desert, about $130 1st visit and $110 second visit. A solo meal there cost about $30 with 3 courses. Every dish I've had was good, jungle curry, green and red curries, pad Thai, octopus and some others. Good variety, excellent ice cream desserts.

Tasty Thai food except for the beef Larb which was just fried mince IMHO and my Thai companion agreed. The Tom Yum Gum and Red curry duck were delicious and lénfant (9 months) loved his chicken wings:)

We had Siam Chicken, vegetables with peanut sauce and green curry chicken which were all fabulous. The servings were a good size and the food was delicious. I'll go there again for sure.

Not even worth 1 star, worst Thai food I ever had. It's waste of time and money, the food was not at all good and will never recommend this place.

Probably the worst meal I have ever had here. Chicken skewers were tough and dry. Chicken massaman certainly not long cooked and only stir fry strips. Siam chicken tasty but the accompanying shredded carrot would have been 2 weeks old. They did give us a discount for the skewers. Certainly won't be going back.

Such an awesome restaurant which is hardly ever busy but it should be! Food is incredible & staff are super knowledgeable.lots of gluten free/vegetarian options that are super clear on the menu.love coming here! Highly recommended

My favourite Thai restaurant! Staff are always friendly and the food is always delicious! Order two desserts to take one home every time we go!

The location is great and food is reasonable. So I found myself coming here more and more. But on my last visit, I received shocking service - the worst I have ever faced as a paying customer in my life. The waitress was so HORRIBLE, she was actually so angry and said insulting things to me because of a miscommunication.
I am non-confrontational and do not like drama/being rude. So I just got up really shocked, paid quietly and walked out. Never to return.

What I don't get is, why would a waiting staff ever treat a polite customer this way? I would give zero stars if I could.
