Taj Agra

Today we ordered Veg Biryani for takeaway. The biryani was ok but the raita with the biryani was stale and smelling so bad as if it was very old. Very Pood service.

After placing a take away order, I asked to wait in the waiting area for my order. This not not only welcomed but encouraged. 25 minutes was the estimated time.
45 minutes later I was asked what I was waiting for. I was told my order had been sitting ready for some time. Having ordered take away from there before I have never had to constantly check on my order. The food was now warm at best and I was advised that they were too busy to let me know my order was ready. When I pointed out that I was waiting within the restaurant as advised and encouraged by their staff, I was told that the lady who served me was in the kitchen and didn’t tell them. Despite attending to numerous delivery drivers in the same area, I was ignored.
The food was cold and average, as was the response to the lack of service.
And to top it off, the area in which I was encouraged to wait was full of mosquitoes.
A complete disregard for paying customers.

This was my first time ordering from taj agra and honestly I was disappointed despite looking at previous reviews before get there.
I ordered many things starters and mains all are tasteless. I am first there and thats my worst experience. I highly recommend to others don't go there.
If peoples still like and enjoy the thats means they don't have knowledge about taste of Indian Cuisine.

They took my money and did not deliver anything, also blocked my number when I tried to call. Mr Omar replied and stated they had an unfortunate accident which shut down their kitchen and phones, however I was not contacted until I posted a public complaint. I have been offered the meal be replaced however given the COVID crisis I would be concerned the meal may be maliciously contaminated so I have contacted my credit card bank about the fraud

Order last night food with doordash. The food was awful and naan are burn. How this can be tolerate. Never ever gonna order from taj agra again

May be it happens once it can be mistake but this is the 2nd time. 1st time no salt then she gave me salt to mix it up. Now it’s bland. Its minimum responsibility to taste the food before you serve! It’s not acceptable, won’t be ordering food anymore & not recommended to anyone. Not worth for the money.

Ordered chicken shalimar from taj agra.worst food no taste and chicken pieces were not cooked properly.

I ordered a karahi paneer and malai kofta. Paneer was frozen it's was tasteless. Malai kofta was better. I have been there before food was way better last time.

Food was ok.
But one of last who serve us was
very rude and annoying.poor hospitality.
People says she boss which is shame.
Not going again because of her.

I ordered takeaway goat curry. It tasted so good but it had way too much oil than it needed. I separated it before eating. Now I am wondering what can I do with this much amount of oil from the Curry?

Decided to order in on a Friday night. Food was fantastic as it always is for us.
However the delivery driver was quite rude when delivering, can’t read instructions on where to meet to drop off the meal.
If you choose to get delivery from here, go through a delivery app or do a pick up order. Not worth having restaurant delivery delivered that can’t read or comprehend precise English instructions.

Last night I had dinner there! We ordered chicken 65 as starter and one goat and chicken dish as main dishes. None of the meats were fresh! They tried to cover the non-fresh, frozen meat smells with spices! In my opinion, this restaurant and the Masala hut in Weston Creek are the 2 worst Indian restaurants I have seen in Canberra, I'm just judging them based on their food qualities!

Butter paneer is like water paneer. I don’t think it’s been cooked properly.chicken biryani is like oil fried rice

Very disappointed with the half a tandoori chicken. It is completely dry and has no flavor at all. It should be juicy, spicy and delicious.
The Vegetable Korma is good, plenty of fresh veggies. Nice sauce.

Food is fabulous but their websites online ordering is broken. Use a third party delivery agent if you want to receive your food. I ordered through the website with no error message- called when food was late to discover the ordering section site doesn’t work. Had to reorder and wait another 30 mins.

Decent food but nothing above average. Food is inconsistent, recently we got a tandoori chicken that seemed to have been steamed instead of grilled.

Horrible food. A waste of money. I don't know why these people are running a restaurant when they know nothing about good quality food. The chicken was under cooked and tasteless and the chick peas had a strange taste. I recommend people not to visit this place. Really disappointed

Disagree, very bad food and not enough quantity, chef doesn't even know how tadka dal or handi gosh looks like. He really need to find out how indian food look and tastes. Never ever will I visit this place again nor would I recommend anyone.

Daal Makhni I got delivered today was the worst dish I have ever seen from any restaurant. Never ordering again
