The place is awesome. Tracks have seen some wear but they are still in good nick and great fun. Been there 4 times now and still finding new features. The beers, burgers and bike mechanics at the bottom are a massive bonus

Excellent MTN bike and kids play facility, but let's see how it pans out after all of the upcoming capital works

Amazing mountain bike park. Pure joy to ride here. Trail maintenance is good, sometimes trails can be a little chattery but not enough to take away from a good ride.

The reason why I never left Canberra and probably wouldn't. The day I discovered Stromlo, I was looking forward to returning on my next day-off and tackle more trails. Perfect for active and outdoor loving individuals and families. Truly a cyclist's paradise.

I regularly take my 4 yo grandson for bike riding here. He loves taking his bike on the kids trail. Its a nice area in bush with kangaroos hanging around nearby

With free time at the end of the day, Stromlo awaits. Incredible climbs using direct trails to the summit, or relaxing fire-roads where you can enjoy the scenery, wildlife, and the breeze. Followed by fantastic descents, whether your thing is technique, large air time, drops, berms you name it! Pick the right route to descend, and you'll have it all. Finish the day with an excellent burger down at the Handlebar cafe. Now that the cold weather is finishing up, Spring and Summer are on the way, the perfect time to get out there. Just make sure to watch out for a few Magpies along the way!

Stromlo is Disneyland for Mountain Bikes with something for everyone from toddlers to world champion downhill racers.
Next to the car park is a large paved area where kids and scooter riders can run around in circles, there's a beginner set of dirt jumps next to the cafe, big clean bathrooms, a great cafe, and the whole place is well sign posted with some fantastic long tracks that scale the adjoining Mt Stromlo.
I'm an amateur with a basic bike and few skills, but I had a great time here, and the trail maps and signs are well set out allowing you to explore the entire site with ease.
There's a huge parking area out front, and even on a busy day you won't run into too many riders once you get clear of the cafe and car park.
There's a number of hour long well-graded tracks that gently scale the mountain then give you a 15-20 minute downhill blast, but also some deadly black runs if you want to risk broken bones and impressive grazes.
And if you're here just for fun, and no exercise, there's a bus that will cart you and your bike to the top for $10 a run, or $70 a day.

Only been to a few mtb parks and Stromlo is the best so far, well kept trails and great facilities at the bottom. Often busy with a very friendly vibe.

Great riding I ride here at least once a week, it only lacks a few more advanced tracks and a jump park for the more advanced riders. Great facilities for all ages if your very experienced and wanting large jump sections or jump park and some technical downhill could do with the tracks being fixed up

Nice running grass track. Feels like running on a carpet. Free to run during most of the day time unless there is an event happening there

Great mtb tracks and near to everything including a hospital food and many more. It’s good for people that just started mtb to pros and it had kids tracks. Highly recommend

This is a great MTB park! I plan school holiday breaks around trips to Canberra just to ride at Mt Stromlo. A great selection of trails so that the kids and I can all develop our mtbing further.

What an excellent facility! Loads of trails for mountain biking, and some great running trails too. Kids love the pump track.

Shuttles, decent elevation, large variety of well crafted trails and only 15min from the CBD - what's not to like?

Very large, engaging park. Great for cycling, walking, running or really anything. The paths are very flat and clear, there are also many trails. There's also a little playground for kids, a pavilion and the bathrooms are very clean.

Stromlo is great for riding but they need to sort out their tech/comms - their website seems to be frequently down and they don't update their facebook page very often. We travelled to Stromlo from Sydney, hired a house, a mtb for a mate (as Stromlo) and then when we arrived were told the main downhill runs were closed for a comp. The other tracks were open but they're not great.
