Siren Bar and Restaurant reviews
67Overpriced. $25 for 8 inch chicken supreme pizza. And the portion size of other food were very small.
Ive been coming into Siren for quite some time now. I have alway loved the food, the drinks and the atmosphere of the restaurant.
In terms of food I feel it to be a bit overpriced, I do believe I am paying for quality however the server size seems to have gotten smaller and just isn't as filling. As much as we are paying for either entrees or mains I feel as if there should be more. Regardless the food is still exceptional. The service of the restaurant seems to be hit or miss at times. In the past there have been staff members with attitude and been rude, but I have had some bartenders there to be very kind and welcoming. I came in last Thursday and the staff member working was very kind, caring and respectful towards us. She had such a smile on her face and the brightest personality towards not only us but all the other customers. Highly recommend Siren for a good wide range of food, friendly atmosphere and most of the time amazing service!
THE place to go for gluten free people. There are more "gf"s on the menu than regular people items. Great to see Siren Bar, feeling the love
It’s hard to even give a 2, the pork ribs and drinks where okay and this was about it. Where do I even start 3 over cooked steaks that tasted like the grill had never been cleaned. The fish tasted frozen and was extremely small for $38. After complaining about the steak, we didn’t even want them re-cooked it was that bad, the waiter insisted that he’d re cook them instead of taking them of the bill (we didn’t eat them) even after I said no 4 times (revenue hungry). When the waitress came she’d even said “yeah I thought they looked over cooked on the pass” (then why no do something about it?) I’d asked for salad and got vegetables instead and my mums sauce never arrived even after asking. We had been waiting on one cocktail for 20min so I asked where they were and they finally came with no apology.
This same waitress also asked for “relationship advice” from my friend who didn’t even know her.
As much as the servers where nice, they where extremely unprofessional in their manner and this is not what I expected from a 4.1 star restaurant.
They even messed up the split bill and charged my friend for cocktails that had already been payed for and where never on the bill. I used to love takeaway from here but I will never buy food from here again.
Went there for a function this afternoon. Had a great time. The food was lovely and a great place to have a beer on Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
We always enjoy going here. Good food, good coffee, plenty of seating areas and heaters are on for outdoor seating.
Pizza expensive
Ordered 2 pizza to take away but 1 looks like a bread pizza, cause pizza topping was covered in sauce?
Food was great, a little pricey though.
Booked a table for 5 people, they only gave us 4 seats. Asked for an indoor table and we were seated next to the sports bar (outside) which was INCREDIBLY loud. Also put next to the smokers area with a clearly pregnant woman and a toddler.
Great service, excellent meals and really nice staff. Highly recommended for a friendly pint or a casual meal.
Today I had a weird experience in siren I used to go there all the time today I had a business meeting and I invited someone there before the meeting I grabbed a drink from the bar after sometime I went to grab another drink and guess what the girl behind the counter gave me a bag of food she said oh God I thought you're the delivery guy and her and another co-worker burst in laughter that was most disgusting way someone treated me in my entire life and where in a place that we spend money in it to have fun thanks siren and never again.
Do not recommend it.
Waited half and hour for a booked table.
The waiter saw the colour of my skin and change my table number to the outdoor seating, when I explicitly asked for an indoor setting. Tried to speak with manger but they were busy for their customer.
What is the point of booking a table 1 week in advance if you cannot fulfil it.
I cannot believe how racist they have become.
I used to work there 4 years back, Siren reputation has gone downhill.
I won’t be surprised they become bankrupt in few years, if they do not become multi cultural friendly.
Had the aged T bone shared with family today. There was a hiccup in the online ordering system which was not great. However the service and the Steak were both exemplary. That Steak tho was first class. 5 stars from me.
Have ordered many times via Menulog and Deliveroo but lately the quality hasn’t been the best. The salad is getting smaller and smaller and less ingredients.
Amazing place. Friendly atmosphere. Doing a great job during lockdown to cater for customers. Will be doing grazing packs as of this week, so will definitely try.
Coffee is well brewed.
Stuffed up Father's day meal. Made no attempt to address the matter, merely refunded for what was missing. Only apologised after being pressed
Great service always. Fantastic food and even the take away options and delivery arrive fresh. I've used both delivery and pick up services, never disappointed.
These guys have been around for quite some time now, they have had plenty of time to nail the atmosphere and they done that very well.
The food is really good. I'd say it's a bit pricey, but you could argue that it's worth the price as I've never been disappointed with a dish after coming here for over five or so years.
This is a good place to catch up with family or mates (post COVID) for some drinks or a lunch/dinner.
The staff are typically very friendly and make an effort to keep tabs on the table removing finished dishes and glasses which is a nice refreshing note.
Hands down the smallest, thinnest schnitzel I have come across for $25. Well not hands down, that would allude that the size is near two hands size, but it’s really just the size of your hand and half as thin.
The steak I had on 22nd May was ordinary to say the least. Not what I would call a good cut of sirloin. Gristle, hard to cut let alone eat and cold veggies to boot.
I don't believe I will return here.
Nice pub in the middle of Gungahlin. Just wanna tell you the secret, dont go with burgers and chips, go with parmy. And yet, if you like spicy (with drinks) you could try chicken tikka masala pizza. Cheers!
