Not really sure how this place is rated 4 stars. I went there for dinner last night and was very disappointed. The food was not enjoyable one bit. I ordered a mild butter chicken, and it was so spicy that I was unable to eat it. They also have a alcohol menu that you can't order from because they apparently don't have a alcohol licence! Very disappointed customer.

The curry in Chile Bhature was on the thicker side. Ginger tea was barely edible. Spices had not been sieved.

The new Lunch menu is awesome. An amazing and affordable option which was very delicious with the authentic taste. Must try

Samosa chaat perfect, but the lamb biryani too salty and the meat is dried and hard. May try something else next time.

We are frequently visiting this restaurant and we really like the authentic South Indian taste it offers. It’s really remarkable that we get the same taste of the South Indian food in any Sankalp restaurant may it be in India or abroad.
Talking about the Sankalp Belconnen, it has a rich menu offering the trademark South Indian food, the chats and both veg & non veg Punjabi dishes. The taste is very good and so is the hygiene level. The ambiance may be improved… overall, wonderful experience every time

Having thali at sankalp restaurant which is the best indian restaurant i found in canberra with lot of varieties in dosa curry in vegetarian and non-vegetarian both with an amazing staff

The food was exceptional, with each dish bursting with flavor and authentic Indian spices. I particularly enjoyed the chicken tikka masala, which was creamy and savory, and the garlic naan, which was perfectly crispy and fresh.

New and trendy restaurant on Weedon Close. About time Belconnen had a good restaurant like this. Dosas are a bit too expensive esp when they are plain ones, but their curries, sambar, paneer dishes were delicious and so flavoursome. Transported me back to my visit to Madras in the old dats

Sankalp being very good and serious about there food taste …. We tried a lot of things like masala dosa, chicken curry, biryani, and many more but it has a unique taste as compared to lot of other Canberra restaurant giving us just a spiece and nothing else ….
