Ridgeline Park Playground reviews
19Enjoyed a day out at the Ridgeline Park Playground. This is a great park with a variety of physical activities for the kids and a great location for surrounding areas. The park has a public toilet and some exercise equipment for the grown ups. Great facilities for all and would recommend to all types of family.
There is a wonderful children's playground and there is also a workout area for adults. Beautiful location, easy parking and clean restrooms.
This is a fabulous adventure playground suitable for a wide range of ages. The equipment is unique and there’s a great selection (including the always-popular flying foxes-2 side-by-side— perfect for ‘races’!). An exercise station and tables/benches mean that there’s something for parents too. There’s a nearby toilet block and water spout (suitable for filling water bottles or using as a bubbler). The park is surrounded by a grassed area and has a small car park as well as on-street parking. What’s not to love?
Kids loved it! It'll be incredible once all the trees and plants grow. Something for everyone and bubbler and toilets on sight. Outdoor gym also means a sneaky workout can be achieved while the kids wore themselves out. Flying fox was fun for a few runs but shorter than the kids expected
Good adventure-style playground with water bubbler (bowl for dogs too) and outdoor workout area. Toilets onsite. On a hill with nice views and random artsy chairs dotted around. Limited shade at playground, but areas with established trees surrounding it.
One of the best playgrounds in Canberra. Excellent location with awesome views, gym equipment for the adults, toilet facilities, nature play, playground equipment for all ages. Regular festivities also make it fun. Love this place!
Such a great park. We have taken our 2 and a half year old here and she loves going on the slide and swings. The spider Web and really big slide is too big for her but she loves watching all the kids and seeing what everyone else is doing.
My grandchildren love this playground. It has with great views over the Molonglo Valley. The 8 yo boy particularly enjoys playing creatively in the rocks area, which is unique. There are climbing frames and slides for all ages, and a good fitness area for adults/teens.
Lovely new playground on top of the hill great for kids of all ages. Plenty of tables and chairs for families and parents to relax while the kids play, and broader open grassed areas for them to run around
Kids love it. Bigger kids can get a bit wild with the flying foxes, also, some pretty high spots where little kids cam be in danger. We'll supervised kids are fine. Very exposed. Avoid on windy/wet days. New loos and parking are currently being built.
Hands down the coolest public slide I've ever been to. I've got a year of heights and even climbing this net to a semi-enclosed structure to get to the slide got me a bit freaked out! Most suitable for kids from 4yo upwards, though the adventurous young ones could go up with parents tagging along.
Many other rides and amusements for the younger ones for sure, including two flying foxes/ziplines that have a pretty abrupt stop so make sure your face isn't gonna hit the rope at the end!
Very nice playground at the edge of Canberra. One of our top 5 playground after Moncrief Community Recreational Park.
Hopefully they will build toilet and BBQ place next to the playground.
No toilets or shade cloth! Why do they do this? But great playground. Just not sure what they expect 3 year olds to do with their bladders?
Fantastic all ages playground with shaded seating areas, drinking fountain and rubbish bin. Also has exercise equipment for adults.
Cons: No public toilet or BBQ. Limited shaded seating.
Good park for the kids to explore and a little rock and grass play area to play aswell.no shade which means in summer the equipment is hot. No toilets and parking is minimal but in the making of more parking and toilets so should improve.
Great largish children's playground, for mixed ages but No public toilets nearby! Could also benefit from some BBQ and picnic facilities.
Lovely place. Nice smaller adventure playground done right. Misses BBQ and public toilets. Else as good as it gets with great views.
Possibly the best park in Canberra. Only 6million dollars? Not even a toilet.
Stop wasting our tax dollars.
Beautiful open park for kids. Young kids will love this place. Let the kids play and have a picnic
