The best meal in Canberra.

We’ve been coming here for almost 30 years and it’s always been consistently excellent.

The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious and it caters well for carnivores and vegans.

This place is amazing! BYO drinks are allowed. Lovely staff that recommend the good stuff. Everything from entries to dessert was spot on. Will bring the family next time!

What a lovely restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful if a bit loud, the food is really great. The owner spends a lot of time walking around to ensure everybody is happy with everything. I cannot stress enough that this restaurant alone is worth a trip to Canberra!

Busy zooming in on Europe film commitment now, but at around a quarter to eight yesterday night, I ordered exquisite Rama's take away from the Fiji Indian Restaurant, (in Shopping Centre), practically opposite my house, (this last two years, as far as I'm aware?). My $14 Appertizer or first course of Fish Pakoras was satisfactory. My main dish of the $29 Lamb Karma delicious & sauce definitely as rich and creamy as promised. But what enhanced dish the very most, with the best taste sensation to the already fresh spice taste and chewy cubes of lamb, was my Mango chutney and very generous Steamed Rice, although difficult to get Rama's to understand on the phone that I definitely only wanted the one serve and not two as they kept trying to insist! I would be ordering this overall amazing $50.50 delicious food regularly, but for one mishap. The accusation from restaurant that I was angry. Nothing is further from the truth and I think I could easily prove this from the packed to the rafters restaurant where I recognised most of the Pearce Village Neighbourhood Watch, who for some reason only ever arrange their Village Banquet table at an altogether different and highly traditional Saigon Restaurant of mainly Vietnamese dishes. Plus, my phone order of a 'worth every cent $50.50' was taken quickly and efficiently, other than my having to say, at least five times, that I only wanted a single serve of Steamed Rice. The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission, (ACCC) suggest many packed or unsafe restaurants often accuse new walk in customers of behavior never actually witnessed and I did explain this to the delightful mature woman serving me inside and also reminded her that Canberra's online ordering infrastructure was rife with cyber crime and some of us are wise enough to avoid the clunky, clicky wait on NBN & simply phone on in. Quite contemporary really, but false accusation? Only ever in Canberra, I'm afraid, the renowned corrupt place for Elder Abuse, according to AFP Next Of Kin Cards Emergencies and Crime Stoppers Australia.chrisMsimon - Respected Elder ACT Constituent & Pearce resident.

The best indian food I have had. The best Palak paneer I have ever had, the lamb sag, goat curry were great. Above all the service by the staff and owner are A+.

Always a busy place which speaks to its popularity. Been 4 times already and will be going quite a few more times in the future.

We are really disappointed with ramas they are to expensive 3 small bara 15$ and they small 2 pic for samosa 15$ normal any curry 30-32 $ very small quantity and they are without any test we will not going again Melbourne restaurant are best I don’t know how they got few good reviews Thank you

I cannot believe I haven't reviewed this fabulous restaurant yet. We have been dining here for years, along with the rest of Canberra. The food is amazing and the service unparalleled. I wish I could give it 10 stars. Minnie is a celebrity here in Canberra and she remembers our names! Love love love her and her family in the kitchen. Yum! Don't wait. Book now! Make sure you try the Roti Parcels and the Jhinga Nariel.

Always love going to this restaurant. The food is on another level and the service is so friendly and efficient. The only negative thing I can say is the food is that good I always eat way too much but it's worth it:)

Visited twice.first had an amazing experience with the food and not so great the second time around. I was struggling to find any flavour in the food served as it was borderline bland! More than hopeful to have another amazing food experience on my next trip!

This is literally the best Indian style restaurant short of going to Sydney or Melbourne.

On top of being literally mindblowing food, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff, even when stupidly busy, is amazing. They're just so friendly and awesome.
