Don’t be put off by the humble deco. Best coffee here every time and you have to try the pork and chilli sausage rolls.

Always love coming here after my groceries. Friendly staff and service. Good pricing. Mocha is the way how I like it. Haven't tried much of the food in the menu but the steam dumplings were surprisingly pleasant and banana bread had a nice chunk of banana in it. Nice atmosphere is a bonus.

Further to my earlier review, above, posted prior to Queenies recent price changes, I was initially concerned that any potential increases would influence my daily visits to the Cafe, but I was pleasantly surprised that the price increases made little impact on the cost of my favourite dishes or coffee. We shall continue to frequent Queenies as much as before.

Yes, there was a minor increase in coffee and other food items, but they were minimal and covered the usual suspects, like milk and eggs, but not significant enough to discourage my regular visits.

On a positive note, the price increase did accompany a new extended menu, with many new delights, which I look forward to trying over forthcoming months.

But for now, the food continues to be delicious, the coffee rich, hot, and to my strength, the service just as friendly, and the total cost not yet burning a hole in my wallet.

I do recommend making Queenies a part of your shopping experience at Mawson, as there are always things to do nearby, which you can do before or after your Queenies queentessential cuisine!

The food is really good, and reasonably priced, in my opinion the best in the area, though that’s not hard to beat but definitely the best option there is.
I ordered the big breakfast and it was 95% perfect to my liking, my only complaint is it was a little too oily but the flavour and presentation was all there.
It would have been better with some avocado and baked beans too.
The staff are friendly and the environment is relaxing.

The food is amazing! Pulled pork coleslaw sandwich is the best by far, fettuccine delicious and smoothies and coffee is the best. A go to place for great food 10/10

Got a sausage roll to takeaway, and it was absolutely FOUL.
The meat in the sausage roll was a horrible texture and almost tasted off.
Go elsewhere if you are looking for edible food.

Went in on a rainy day and was welcomed by a warm cosy atmosphere and friendly customer service. Ordered the eggs bennie, smashed avo, matcha late and coffee. Food was excellent and the coffee was fantastic. Absolutely got our monies worth and will be returning in future.

I like local businesses and I really want to like this place.but I've been here five times and four times there have been problems. The decor is cute, the food and prices are average, and the service is lacking.

Most recently, they managed to get the flavour, size and takeaway option of my single drink completely wrong.

Twice, they've completely forgotten about me and left me standing waiting for a coffee for 15+ minutes, serving other customers who came way after me.

Another time I ordered four coffees and they gave me just one.normally I'm not fussy and I've tried to give you the benefit of the doubt but you guys really need to sort your stuff out. Maybe ask for clarification if you don't understand the order, offer an apology if you get something wrong, and don't chat too loudly about the customers in Mandarin because some of us might understand you.

Queenie's is my all-time favourite cafe - my partner and I absolutely adore it. They have the most delicious food, beautiful coffee and such friendly service.

Amazing little Cafe. Great atmosphere super friendly staff and delicious food. I had hot chocolate chicken dumplings and a creme Broulee. Will definitely be going back.

Nice Cafe in Mawson. Made my coffee just as I like it. Nice ambiance but some surfaces needed a wipe down.

More than one occasion with painfully slow service for 2 coffees on a Sunday morning. If you want a quick caffeine hit, look elsewhere in Mawson.

Every food item I’ve tried there is always amazing and coffee is good too. The team there are very hardworking and lovely. Even when it’s busy they run super well.

Great spot for lunch or coffee. Always friendly and lots of different choices on the menu. Last time I had the burger which was terrific!

The food was lovely and the service was great. There was a slight mistake in our order, they directly took it away and changed it without questions asked.

I love their eggs on toast and coffee - great taste for a great price. Possibly more importantly the wall murals and patterned cups and plates are fantastic.
