Best playground in Canberra, and really original too! Comes with awesome viewers and almost guaranteed parking.
A good place for children to learn how to communicate and spend fun time with children when the weather is nice.
Beautiful playground at National Arboretum Canberra in Molonglo Valley. Plenty of climbing for pod slides and large climb frame. Steep slide probably more suited to 5-10year olds. The bell bridge you ring with your feet as you walk over next to cute little lady bird seat sculptures. Banksia caves have cool interactive scales, bongos, echo pipes and sand play. 4 swings including 2 nest/web, 1 normal & 1 baby. Toilets available and inside cafe. Past the playground and Cafe there's a large grassy hill to enjoy the view while the kids run and roll.
One of the best playgrounds we have been to so far. The acorn shaped playground with stuffs just enough for your little ones energy. Will definitely come back again.
Great park for children of all ages. My daughter is 1.5 years old and she spent most of the time using the drums and sandpit area.
Wonderful experience being with family at this location. Recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Sensational! The playground has a big enough play area to account for large number of people, and with a different variety of play equipment to suit all ages of children. The scenic view of the arboretum is just the icing on the cake.
A wonderfully whimsical playground with great amenities. Open from 6am, 3 hours before the visitor centre opens, this is a great place for kids to play before the crowds come in.
Expansive breath taking views are available 360 degrees.
Onsite toilet with water bubbler makes this an easy place to play for hours.
We were here 5 years ago and made a point to return. Great place.
Had a great time. Billy, 3 year old nephew was in heaven. One of the best playgrounds in Canberra.
It was a disappointment. A few previous phototakers were genius. Their photos made a normal kid playground look like something very grand. It was a normal playground, well maintained, well designed climbing frame with slides, and that was it. It was small, in the middle of nowhere except for the stunning view in the nearby visitor center and it took us 20 minutes on a motorway just to get there. It may not be an ideal site seeing spot for a Sydney to Canberra 3 days visit. I don't know. The view was really great, comparable to looking down from the roof of the Parliament House.
The kids loved the playground, thou.
The kids seemed to be enjoying the playground and it is very interesting design and well thought out.
Great park for the kids, has various levels of equipment and you can spend a fair amount of time there. Pack clothes for the family accordingly as the wind can sometimes pick up. The playground can get a bit busy at times.
A realy nice park. Little to bigger kids had a blast. The coffee was nice. The views wonderful. I even likd the car park.
A regular. Good mix of older kids equipment and younger, plenty of swings, sand pit, etc.
Only complaint is only one toilet.
Amazing playground for all ages and physical abilities. It includes so many attraction points that you can easily plan to spend 2-3 hours there.
Only downside was that it happened the toilets to be out of order. Other than that kids had a blast
The playground is great, excellent variety for kids and well built. Only downside is how packed it gets, plus paid parking.
Fun place for the kids. Younger kids wanting to go all the way up to the top acorn without older kids to help, can be trying for adults
A great playground with lost of things for kids (my older kids especially enjoyed) to do. Much better than our local suburb playgrounds in Canberra. Paid parking to visit.
