Pho Phu Quoc Vietnamese Restaurant reviews
57 Would rate 0 star. 5: 30pm Friday, not so busy hour. Ordered Rare Beef Noodle Soup. The food quality is poor, see the photos, the noodles were cooked too long, you can hardly use your chopsticks to have them. Have the feedback to the owner, she said THIS IS THE BEST QUALITY THEY CAN SERVE, USE YOUR SPOON TO EAT?
Paid for my lesson, avoid this, the one in Belconnen is a lot better than this baby food. Seriously?
Update: please see the comments from the owner, such educated. There are people value the farmer, animals behind the meal. I provided feedback with you, and your attitude is not saying SORRY, but ask you customers to eat with their spoon? And since that’s the best quality of the food you served, I definitely need to share my experience here.
Average quality foods. The one star was due to over- charging the price that stated on the menu. You gained few bucks you lost me as a regular customer for good! NOT recommended
I order a bowl of Vietnamese hot and sour seafood soup, but it was neither sour nor spicy. Too sweet and for $22.90 it does not come with rice or noodles and it's mostly process meats like 3 fish ball (cut 1/2), crab sticks, 3 prawns and
very little vegetables. Very disappointing.
No a fan food was average.pho came out with no pho smell & tasteless. Even the pho at Soi noodle cafe was better
Came here many times. Food is good and large portion. But service needs improvement. Forgot my order. Hard to get waiter’s attention. Ended up waiting 45 minutes for a bowl of noodle.
It's been a long while since I had pho here. I must say that the soup is full of salt and nothing compared to the full and enriching taste of Ipho at Cbr city. The standards in this seemingly highly reviewed restaurant have deopped. I do not recommend the pho.
Sweet and sour soup was way overly sweet. We had this dish at many restaurants and by far this had too much sugar. We spoke to owner and she said this how they make it in South Vietnam. Rest of the dishes were fine. Service was fast and food arrived on time.
Our order took over 90 minutes for delivery. We were very disappointed with the food.
The chicken curry was not authentic “ Vietnamese”. No sauce and generic chicken.
We will not ever use this place again.
Very disappointed!
Broken rice was awful and expensive.
Pho was okay.
Not the best place for Vietnamese food in Canberra.
Would not go back.
The Pho is really nice.but the crispy chicken with tomato rice needs improvement.the prawns and pork wrapped is also nice.the price reasonable.the service is fast.overall I rate 3 star.
Food's quite good. Tastes good. On two occasions however they gave us the wrong noodles. And their hu tieu uses the wrong noodle as well.
We ordered one bowl of pho (special beef) and hu tieu (pork chop). The pho has a good portion of noodle and meat. The hu tieu was a disappointment. They used the same noodle as pho and the pork chop is deep fried. I think its the same deep fried pork chop for other menu. Definitely not an authentic dish but more of palatable to people here perhaps. If you have been to Vietnam and have hu tieu, dont order one here. Oh, they also forgot our tea until we asked for it at the end of the meal.
The pho was well balanced flavoured with nerves and spices. The downsides is slightly salty for my taste. Service name ambiance was par.
Location is not far from the restaurant, just across the road. Vietnamese Pho was large portion, Bung Beef with Vermicelli, fish sauce.
Sour soup is excellent, and general good quality in food and service. Easy parking but the interior decor can be improved.
Really enjoyed ourselves. Lemongrass chilli chicken was very flavourful, the satay beef was mild - will try the beef with peanut sauce next time (we’ll definitely be back) to see if it packs more punch. Staff were lovely and attentive.
Service was great.
Crowded (popular) and noisy.
Food is very tasty and well presented. Worth a visit.
The Pho was really yummy and the fresh chillies extra spicy. Service was great, friendly staff. Overall great dining experience. Highly recommended!
Food is fresh. But I personally prefer the ipho in the city. Not a fan of relatively strong cinnamon taste in the noodle soup.
As a visitor, I would probably thought that's the only Vietnamese restaurant in the whole of Canberra, it's always busy. The food is quite good but nothing special.
