Oscar Wylee Optometrist - Woden

I had shopped at other places for glasses before but chose Oscar Wylee for their frames.
The Asian man and the optometrist Stephanie were fantastic to deal with. Polite helpful and professional. However when I collected my glasses yesterday afternoon on 23 February I was served by the most rudest, surely unprofessional female imaginable. She was young with long dark hair and her attitude could not have been worse. When collecting glasses an effort should be made to assist the customers not just throw the glasses down and tell me several times “if they don’t fit properly you can always bring them back”. She was totally disrespectful of me as a customer absolutely disinterested in whether or not the glasses fit properly.

I will not shop there again. I live 70km away and it was her job to help me with the fitting of the glasses. I will now go to a private optometrist and see if they can help. Maybe the female lacked training. I don’t know but I will not be going back.

Booked on line and got in for an eye test within two days. Lovely service on arrival and by the Optometrist. Pricing is amazing. Have been going to OPSM for years where they always upsell and I never come out under $1,000. My multi focal transition glasses in a frame I love is less than half that amount. Yet to receive the glasses but seriously happy with the service, price point and style of glasses on offer. Could have got a frame exactly the same as the ones I am wearing for 1/3 of the price.

I received prompt, friendly, courteous and professional attention. After the eye testing the sales lady gave valuable advice regarding the choices of glasses available, without any pressure to take extras, although explaining their benefits. Very happy overall.

Mel provides great customer service and is a great reason to shop here.

The optometrist was so lovely and kind, and was very open about what was going on with my eyes and what was changing. Also the two at the front counter were very nice (An Asian man and a blonde woman with blue glasses), the woman gave me the overall details of the sales on glasses, and even gave me tips on which glasses to look for. I really liked this experience than Specsavers, and I will absolutely be coming back!

Oscar Wylee Woden is a wonderful Optometrists. The team went above and beyond to help me on a Friday afternoon to organise sunglasses for a weekend trip. When I returned for my eye test the Optometrist was friendly and knowledgable - and she gave advice for further eye care. The staff are caring and helpful, helping the customer with all of their needs and giving advice. I highly recommend this Optometrist.

The optometrist was super lovely and extremely helpful with the completion of a specific test that I had never done before. Excellent communication skills and strong skills in empathy. DEFINITELY an experience that was galaxies apart from the same incomplete test experience at a competitor only days earlier.

The reception (Arish) was polite & professional but … BUT the optometrist was very rude and angry person … I won’t recommend her at all, not a good experience!
