On The Corner Cafe reviews
14Worst customer experience prices are constantly always different everytime I go and the staff are not the brightest tools in the shed
The Corner used to be a fabulous little spot with great coffee. However, with new-ish management it has really gone downhill. I wonder if any of the staff members have actually done a barista course? The food is fairly tasteless and with the menu repeated on a weekly basis, there is very little variety. Basmati rice is the only option, even when the dish is Chinese or Thai. You can tell and taste that they're cutting corners (pun intended!). Even though it's my 'local' I've stopped going there.it's just way too disappointing. Surely they've noticed that they're losing loyal customers?
Was looking for something fresh and tasty, found this little gem of a cafe.
The available selection of food is fantastic and would have to say the value for money, incredible! $9.50 for a large ceasar salad that was fully loaded with chicken.not just lettuce. Definitely reccommend, their burgers and wraps looked Devine and there were also stir fry available. Will definitely be back when I visit Canberra again
Good coffee. If you’re going here bring a keep cup of any size for a decent discount! Delicious chips and gravy, wraps, and hashbrowns too
It is the best and I even know the owner of the shop like I went there and since my mum and they are best friends but not is rlly far away from my house
Food great, coffee awesome, and staff fantastic. Internet doesn't work and been broken for a few weeks at time of writing review.
Great coffee, amazing fresh food with menu changes daily and plenty of choices. Service is second to none, Blaz and the team are brilliant and always there to help with a smile
Thanks for amazing coffee each morning. Always on point. Great atmosphere and awesome staff that go above and beyond customer service.
It was so annoying to have my pizza with bug on the bottom. I think Cafe needed to be clean and tidy maintaining good standards in the food they are offering to customers. It was really very very bad and disappointed to have it.
Tried several times, food is good kitchen no problem, girls at the front, wrong order and attitude, rather spend my money elsewhere
Great atmosphere, staff are brilliant! Thanks Steve and team for an always pleasant and friendly experience. The coffee is great too.
Service was fine and coffee OK (grinders) but they missed the mark on the food. Pancakes were burnt in places and hollandaise was cold. So close if they paid attention to detail.
The chicken parmigiana and chips are amazing! I love how they update on their fb page every morning whats on the lunch menu
I have been having breakfasts and lunches at The Corner cafe for over a year now and I can say with complete confidence that they are Canberra's most precious hidden gem. Excellent food, Gracious and prompt service, personable and lively manager/s (Blaze and Dani, without question two of the loveliest and most hard-working people I've met) and did I mention the *Excellent* food? I grew up in Italy and have tried my share of menus - it's no exaggeration for me to say The Corner just wins. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to this cosy-yet-modern, impeccably-run cafe restaurant right by Parliament House. Canberra should be proud! 11/10: D
