I read the menu (best brunch menu I've ever seen) and immediately knew this was a place I wanted to visit again and again. I ordered the sriracha eggs with smoked ham hock. Amazing flavours and beautifully made.
I also had a flat white and the milk was so creamy, and although no sugar was added, had a really nice subtle sweetness to it.
Service was really attentive and lovely.
I would go out of my way to visit this place again.

My recent visit to this charming cafe left me with mixed thoughts to share. While I found the food to be just okay, the warm atmosphere and the friendly staff more than made up for it.

One of the standout features of this cafe is its unique addition of a bookshop, which lends a cozy and inviting vibe to the place. It's an excellent spot to unwind with a good read or engage in a quiet conversation with friends.

During our visit, we tried a variety of dishes, including the Singaporean-style curried rice bowl with prawn and chicken, smoked chicken and cavolo nero bruschetta, and The Muse Steak Sandwich. While some of the flavors were a bit intense for my taste, the overall experience was enjoyable.

In conclusion, the cafe's friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere contribute to a delightful dining experience, and the inclusion of a bookshop is a lovely touch. I recommend giving it a try; you may discover your new favorite spot!

Nice place for coffee, brunch etc. Has a bookshop alongside with interesting range of titles.

Food and coffee was great, so good we came back the following morning. With books to browse as well, what not to love!

Loved this place! Such good value for the bottomless brunch, we got two courses and they were so willing to fill up our glasses and accommodate dietary requests. Will definitely be back!

Staff friendly and helpful. Great food at a moderate price. Great coffee and atmosphere. Good location. Far easier to park than near the coffee shops in the centre of Mauka shopping village. One of the few coffee shops open New Years Day.

One of the best & most popular breakfast/brunch venues in Canberra so you should consider booking. A few of tables are outside for nicer days. The staff and the menu are consistently good. The place doesn't fall into the trap of bulking-up offerings, instead it pleases by variety of taste. Don't forget to checkout the books on offer.they always amaze with their relevance to current affairs and history from a Canberra perspective.

We’ve made Muse our regular Sunday morning brunch spot. The coffee is excellent, the atmosphere friendly, and they serve the absolute best steak sandwich. That dish alone is worth a visit.

Opening times are incorrect. I drove quite a distance to arrive in time to have coffee and a quick bite. I arrived at 11: 03am (Google says they're open until 12: 00pm) and politely asked if I was too late for food. They told me that I wasn't too late for food, I was too late for a table. There were tables everywhere and had they asked, I would have just grabbed a quick coffee to go. Update opening times?

Great food, great service. It was busy when I was there and that didn't impact the staff at all. Highly recommend.

Stayed at The East Hotel last week and visited Muse Cafe 3 times for breakfast. The coffee and food amazing. Staff very helpful and friendly. Usually go down to The Foreshore for breakfast but couldn't be bothered after visiting this cafe on the first morning.

Delicious food, and excellent adherence to coeliac dietary requirements. My partner couldn't believe her french toast was actually gluten free, it was that good (and it was gluten free).

Pretty good nasi goreng, but could have had more veggies and a tofu option. Staff attentive and kind.

We had our ceremony reception at Muse and just wanted to say how great everything was. The food was delicious and Dan and Paul even helped us decorate the venue. Everything was very well looked after and everyone had a great time! It's also very conveniently located so that our guests could stay over at the East Hotel.

Beautiful venue, great for groups (pre book) and celebrations. Food is super tasty. And hey, if your friends are always late like mine are, you can browse the bookshop! Win win win win.
