Thank you for a lovely meal! Portion size was spot on. We ordered far too much yet it was oh so delicious. The waitress was fantastic and my kids enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend the Shabu Shabu. The Kaarage was excellent as well! To those saying it was luke warm broth, suggest you let it heat up first.

The two of us ordered the Shabu Shahu with beef, udon noodle egg soup, prawn tempera, and vegatable tempera. All very yummy. The server was very friendly and helful with the menu explanations. We went on a Tuesday lunchtime when it quiet, but the premises was nice and would be great I expect at dinner time.

Great good, great prices, cozy and comfortable. Always a nice little place to catch up with friends.

Interesting idea in pork ramen by using udon soup, but bad practice, they didn't decontaminate the odour of local pork and. Kernel corn ruined the whole bowl.

I had the ramen and takoyaki for dinner thought it was amazing especially in this Canberra cold. I’ll be sure to come back soon!

Honestly they got really good steak even better than some of top fine dining I had before in Sydney. Loved the tereyaki steak so much and always sticked to it. Beef shabu shabu hot pot is also a must try. The lady who served us was really hospitable. Ticked all boxes for me. Thank you and we'll come back again

This place is a hidden gem! We went here last night for my friend’s birthday and everyone on the table was impressed. Beef Shabu is just fantastic so as the teriyaki salmon set. Serving staffs were attentive and friendly.

Sashimi noodle is a legend. Freshest sashimi ever hands down. Beautifully mix with refreshing tahini, cucumber, wasabi and pink ginger. It saved me from the heat this afternoon

We thought to have not eaten there because It looked quiet, but behind that wall people all the tables were booked. Tasty food, average price ($16/meal). The best part was Bonnie being our waitress. We were really impressed with her service - all 13 tables to herself. She was very sweet and always had a smile.

Convenient to grab some lunch takeaway of nigiri Sushi sometimes it could be very busy with uni students but I always get my food quicker than expectation. Highly recommend salmon and king fish nigiri

Have been ordering takeaway for quite a while and always got our food quick, hot and delicious. I’d like to dine in next time as apparently they don’t deliver Shabu Shabu japanese hot pot set and I have a craving when seeing its picture here

First of all, their servings are relatively good, especially the Shabu Shabu hotpot which is absolutely better compared with the similar Japanese cuisines nearby in Canberra.
Secondly, the waitress sister is keen and warm, who has an amusing accent of Southerners of Asia. Moreover, she is beautiful for real!
However, the only disappointing thing is that the beautiful waitress did not know the true meaning of 'wasabi tako'. More specifically, the restaurant misunderstood it with 'tako sashimi with wasabi'.
What a pity!
Furthermore, I heard Cantonese in their kitchen instead of Japanese. Therefore, it might not be a 100 per cent Japanese restaurant. Couldn't be better than 4 stars ranking.

They accidentally gave my extra Udon to another table but the customer service was so amazing and definitely made up for it the shabu shabu pork was bomb! Definitely going back again soon.

One of my usual haunts while I used to live in the student accommodation nearby.
The shabu shabu is the highlight here, as there's nothing quite like a personal hotpot on a cold winter's night.
The regular menu has a variety of standard Japanese fare, but it's pretty average.
Sometimes it can get pretty quiet in there (later in the night, about 8: 30pm-ish) so stop in for a nice warm hotpot by yourself, and get some peace and quiet while you cook your meal

Cozy place with friendly serving. I have eaten about 7 times and counting as it is within ANU. The lady serving is also friendly. Dishes with beef are my favourites.

Love the Beef Shabu Shabu (hotpot). The sesame sauce matches very well with the beef. Best place to go in Winter

Omg they reopen for trading after quite a while! I miss the beef shabu set so much then I just stick to it. IT WAS JUST AMAZING!
Ticking all boxes for me as they got fast and friendly customer service, cozy & warm dining atmosphere and most importantly, really tasty food. Everyone should go for a hot pot shabu in this freezing Canberra winter! High recommend! Will definitely com back soon ;) Keep it up guys!
