Obviously, Mt Ainslie is one of the recommended places to visit when you are in Canberra. If you want to enjoy the entire city, definitely here is the view. Stunning views of the Australian Capital are waiting for you to explore and take pics.

Great elevated spot to view whole of Canberra and the surrounding mountains. One can appreciate the beauty of this planned city from up here.

It was heck of a experience. We four people hiked from Hackett to Mt. Ainslie. It was fun and a beautiful walk. We saw bunch of Kangaroos and bunnies on the way up. Felt like I was hiking at my home town. Apart from that, the view from up there was very astonishing. We can see whole Canberra from up there. Loved the place qnd the view.

Beautiful scenic experience overall. Worth going.we could able to see war memorial, airport, museum, lake, almost whole Canberra from there. I wish there would be a big binoculars so we could enjoy more. There were heaps of butterfly I have seen these many first time in my life. Enchanted experience when decent from top view point using track. I went there in 3rd of Jan and we could also able to see rabbits, mouse,

Worth a visit to get a panoramic view toward Parliament House. There is a bush track that many local use to hike up the mountain. Given more time I would have explored more of the trails around.
Unfortunately, no amenities up here.

What a great walk. Never knew of it before. A bit of an effort, but the view over the Nations Capital is worth it. Kangaroos, wallabies, native bees, King parrots! Plenty to see along with the stunning views. Another must do!

A great spot to oversee Canberra. The walk up from the Memorial was quite a challenge. Lots to see on the way up.

Should go to this place at least one time in your life but don’t recommend come there on hot days as too many creepy creatures like spiders and flies…

If you are in Canberra for any number of days, this is the first place to be. Just go there. Photos for your reference.

A lovely spot to take in the beautiful city of Canberra and see Walter Burley Griffin's vision come to life. Be sure to check it out at sunset! An easy drive or a tough hike to get to the top.

Wonderful outlook that overlooks all of Canberra! Very close to the city centre. Warrants a trip for anyone staying there, especially on a sunny day.

We run up Mt Ainslie almost every Saturday.and the view from half way, then 3 quarters way up and then the top, is always worth the painful run!

This is a must if visiting Canberra. I recommend visiting at night for a spectacular light experience and view of the Greater Canberra region. This lookout never fails to stun me each time I visit.

Absolutely gorgeous views over Canberra. Certainly the best time to come is the sunset. The walk up through the nature reserve was also beautiful!
