The food is actually so good. Authentic Thai flavours are so hard to find in Canberra but this place delivers that in a fine dining concept while maintaining a relaxed but refined atmosphere by the lake. Go for the awesome tasting menu - everything is a delight and range of flavours is pretty exceptional. Also good value for a hatter restaurant. What’s not to love?

Just had the most lovely evening. Grace, our waitress, was beautiful, friendly and added so much to our evening with her attention to detail and professionalism. We chose the tasting menu and it was superb. Every dish had its own appeal and did not disappoint. I cannot wait to return. Highly recommend!

The set menu had great amount of food and was a perfect way to taste various different offerings. The menu items were very innovative and the taste was very well balanced.

I didn't want the dessert, spice merchant, to end. It was really good.

Was part of large group with set. Service was impeccable, food was fantastic. The staff catered for food allergies seamlessly. Excellent selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

A special place for a celebration. Right from entering there is attentive and genuine service from a delightful team who all seem to have the same focus- quality food and service. The menu is a delight and we were not disappointed by any dish. In fact, we over ordered but still devoured everything that came our way. A special mention to the delightful cocktails and the bar tender!

Only suggestion would be sharing the fried ice cream, it was massive for one person! Lol

My wife and I have found memories of this restaurant but hadn't been for a few years. We were very impressed with our tasting menu dinner last night. The pork rib and roast duck were my favourites. Excellent service as well. Only suggestion for improvement would be more kid-friendly menu options.

Wow! Absolutely fantastic! Best Thai food I have had anywhere in Australia. Definitely not your run-of-the-mill spot, this restaurant is truly exceptional!

In my opinion the taste platter is way over priced for what it really is. Most of the food and flavours were exceptional, service was excellent, location is private which was nice. Overall out of 10 I would say 6.

The tasting banquet was exceptional, and I can’t wait to come again… The service was also exceptional without being in your face.

Very trendy Thai restaurant with a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and are really knowledgeable about the dishes they present during the meal. My friend and I had the tasting menu between 2 and food kept coming! I love the fusion of flavours that Morks are combining in their dishes.

Recently dined at Morks on a Friday night. We had no hesitation leaving the ordering entirely to the staff - and we’re very glad we did. Not only was the food incredible, but the timings and portions were spot on as well. The fishball toast and tartare with roasted bone marrow were an excellent way to start. The main dishes of ocean trout, duck with plum sauce, and massamun lamb shoulder pie blew us away. The wine pairing (also suggested by the staff) worked perfectly with everything we were served.
This might just be the best dining experience Canberra has to offer! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Went for lunch - our second time now. Food is just delicious and I had a fab glass of French white. Staff are very good as well.
Would be 5 stars if the cost was a bit lower. Other than that, very highly recommended.

A very fancy take on Thai food in Canberra located along the lovely promenade. We didn’t realise it was mostly catered for adults but thankful the staff found the only two high chairs available for us. The food was mostly delicious especially the vegetarian mushroom dish and their fried ice cream! The prices were pretty steep though, coming in at $500 for 4 adults 2 toddlers and only 1 glass each.

Wonderfully friendly service! Felt so welcomed and taken care of in a genuine way. The sweet kiwi manager wrote down some local recommendations for us as we’re new to Canberra. We came for lunch and tried 5 dishes, all were delicious but the Yabbie entree was amazing. Can’t wait to come back to try more.

10 out of 10 for food and service. On holidays from Perth and stumbled in here luckily. Not your western style Thai this place is for real. Make sure you check out the brownies for dessert also, mmmmmm
