Moira's Cafe reviews
7 Not very friendly or welcoming. Got a Croissant which was was toasted quickly, I thought that was great, however it was cold and not melted in the middle.
I’m still sitting here as I write this and in over almost 2 hours of waiting for my mum to finish her appointment, I have seen staff clear the tables of rubbish once and actually spray and wipe a single table once - after a customer asked for it to happen.
Right next to radiation oncology with covid still around, I sit here still looking at visibly dirty tables and rubbish and in 2 hours only one table has been actually wiped over and cleaned.
Disgusting and not good enough for a hospital.
This review is specifically for the cafe in the cancer centre - if you want a coffee or other hot beverage, make sure you get there well before 4pm! Ignore the signs that say the cafe closes at 4.30pm, that’s only if you want a cold drink or pre packaged food. Super disappointed. I recommend the cafe changes their opening hours to reflect when they are actually fully operational, don’t include your clean up time as that’s misleading.
Coffee OK. Staff attitude is poor, especially to older patients at the Cancer Centre.
The female with the black hair that is generally in a bun and always has a face looking like she is miserable, makes this cafe awful. She is rude, unprofessional and treats her coworkers terribly.
She seems to continuously be on her phone or walking away from the shop leaving her team makes struggling.
She does not respect her customers. It’s not fair.
Apart from that, the cafe has great coffee and all the other team members are lovely.
There is not a great deal of places at the hospital to find good coffee. This is a great little cafe, I actually really enjoy the coffee that I have had. Staff are also pretty friendly. Not the easiest place to find but would recommend for sure.
Moira’s is a wonderful little cafe with great staff and nice coffee. But being part of the Zouki group is not good. I can swipe my frequent user card but can’t get a free coffee and although all the coffee outlets here are in the Zouki group my frequent user card can only be used in 2 out of the 5 outlets. I have coffee very often and this is quite frustrating. In this day and age surely the company can link all outlets to except their our card and not have me travel from one end of the hospital to the other. I can’t even let the company know my frustrations on their web site as it is so poorly set up it doesn’t work correctly. I guess in the long run they only just want my money.
