Masala Hut

Excellent, value for money Indian food served by a gracious pair of waitresses. Highly recommended. A much better option compared to the rather pricey Indian restaurants around the southern suburbs and Woden. The cleanliness is also impeccable.

Food quality is not same alwaya. I waa there three times. Butter chicken was good first time. But tonight it was so sweet and not good quality. I oreder chicken tikka it was not coocked well also tandoori chicken was not as good as last time. I was disappointed.

Excellet food, specially lamb cutlets and butter chicken. Good service and nice staff. Will surely be back.

Butter chicken has gristle all through it, I was very disappointed. I even gave it a 2nd chance, but the same thing.

Great Indian Food, local to me. We usually have the mixed entree of prawn, lamb chop, chicken tikka. Tonight had goat curry Laal Ma and, delicious. Can also recommend vindaloo, Rogan gosh and lamb Korma. All the meals have a fresh taste and are spicy, by that I mean a variety of different spice flavours not just heat. Highly recommended.

Tried this restaurant couple of times. Worst food quality ever, all the non-fresh frozen meats kept for many days, spices are also artificial and somehow putting those artificial spices they try to cover up the bad smells and tastes of the non-fresh meats and they manage to make their dishes smell good! Horrible food quality always!

Terrible food. Can taste the artificial tomato puree in everything. They couldn't even get a dal right. Never coming back.

Food good, but service very slow. Had food that we hadn't had at other Indian restaurants in the area. Unfortunately I like my local restaurant better.

Very friendly service and cosy atmosphere, decent food albeit not always consistent. Flavour varies from strong to mild but sometimes too bland. Well priced for a regular Indian food fix. Visit often.

Always great food and service. New location is smaller and has better ambiance, though now has byo and shares a toilet with other restaurants.

Been here for the first time. They're very polite, the manager explained the menu and ingredients to us. Calm and smooth music with quiet environment of restaurant. Lovw to meet with the staff of this place. I would love to come to Masala Hut whenever I visit Canberra again.
