I have a number of health issues requiring frequent medical treatment. Dr Fowosere (Dr Kay) is always very thorough e.g. He ensures my vaccinations are up to date, that any medications he prescribes are effective. If I have any health concerns he will refer onto a specialist if he deems it necessary. Dr Kay is very reassuring to allay any fears I might have about my health.

We booked appt online just in the morning around 20 mins before the appt, we went in to check the pricing (as the information on the web was confusing) and it was our first visit. We weren’t convinced about the fees so 10 mins prior to the appointment we said we can’t take the appointment due to financial reasons. Now, we have got an invoice of $85, hows that fair? Reason being, doctors time, they didn’t have any patients booked in for the morning how likely were them to get patients in 10 mins that they decided to charge us $85 for something that we haven’t even got the service of? We know the policy of Failed to Attend but this is terrible and they are there just to get free money from people like us. Pathetic service. I feel sorry for the receptionist as they have to face patients who are not satisfied but the management definitely doesn’t know how to maintain relationships with patients.
Never gonna go back.

I have just recently found this practice purely by chance – good old Google.
It is not immediately apparent, but you will be coming in to be cured both physically, mentally and spiritually all within a relaxed, welcoming and non-rushed environment.
Dr. Olukayode Fowosere (Dr. Kay) is extremely humble but a true genius. When they made this gentleman they broke the mould as angels like him aren’t easily found in this day and age.
Dr. Olukayode Fowosere put me straight at ease. He is calm, highly intelligent and decent human being who makes you feel important and heard as he analyses your symptoms and puts forward sensible and well thought out opinions and theories.
My words do not even come close to even scratching the surface to this remarkable true professional.
I am now a patient of MarketPlace Medical Centre Gungahlin for life and would have no hesitation in recommending to close family or friends.
If you read my review and are searching for a true healer – you will be blessed by entrusting your health care needs to Dr. Olukayode Fowosere.

Always a friendly team at reception.
Dr Kay Is a great doctor. Easy to talk to, never feel rushed and always happy to discuss any health concerns you might have.

I have been attending this practice for numerous years now. I have had a few issues, nothing really major however I have found Dr Kay to redirect yet supportive in managing my health. This approach suits me and all my family members. Many thanks Dr Kay for all your support in keeping my family fit and healthy.

I had a CT scan on the morning of the Thursday before Easter and was assured that my GP (Dr Kay) would receive the report on the same day. When I saw Dr Kay in the afternoon of that day, the report had not been sent. Dr Kay contacted the radiologist and it turned out that the report had not been signed off, yet. Dr Kay then asked me whether I wanted a copy of the report as soon as it came in or wait until after Easter to which I replied that I would like it straight away. I received an e-mail from Dr Kay with a copy of my report attached at 21: 00 that night.

Never visit again, pooor client health assessment, not listening concerns just repeat what they think, waste of money, waste of time. Have to book appointment to visit another GP to get treated.

Not a patient but can I just point out to the practice in question.your responses to those on here trying to point out the problems, are only proving what they are saying negatively about you, is or could be correct.just a thought when you respond to people.after reading the comments/responses from the practice, I personally will not be visiting it.

This medical practice deserves a negative rating if there was any. Yes I agree you are meant to call and cancel the appointment if you are not able to make it. But sometimes it gets crazy with twins especially when they are sick and you are not able to call or make it on time. I get a call from the receptionist about a $50 cancellation charge, which I happily accept and apologized for my mistake. Then again I get a call from the doctor himself in 2 mins to give me lecture on how to be responsible. I apologized again but he keeps lecturing me on the phone. That’s when I loose it. I have genuinely apologized and now what does me want me to do. As if he is perfect and has never made a mistake in his life. I’m glad I didn’t see him.

I have been a patient there for over 4 years and have been very happy with his care and patience to help me with many pre existing conditions and adjusting medications to minimise their side effects and avoid long term usage problems.

Yes, it is a Private billing practice. But worth every dollar.

I brought my kids in for shots yesterday and the nurse was so kind. Both kids got really nervous and cried and refused to cooperate. I asked if I could take them into the waiting room to calm down and then try again. She smiled and said “I’m here til 5pm. ” After a while, we went back in and had success. Thank you for your patience and kindness!

I went here a couple of years ago and the appointment completely knocked my confidence. The doctor was soo dismissive for a condition which eventually turned out to be quite serious and required referrals and lots of meds to fix.

Edit for response - I know where I saw my doctor lol. I don’t want to be contacted to discuss an issue, I’m giving you feedback. I just hope you learn from people’s experiences.

I wish if I can give less than 1 star to this private practice. Worse experience I Ever had at this place. My GP was away for few days which is in Belconnen medical centre.i had some back pain suddenly and I booked an appointment at this place which is near to my house I visited to this place today arrived 30 minutes before my appointment and wait outside the door. Once I enter I noticed I forget my mask. As soon as I entered I told them sorry I forget to get my mask and people at the reception stares at me like I did crime rather then offering me mask one persoon stand up from chair and ask me go and get your mask which seems really rude to Me there was no pleasing words. According to me people at reception also intitled to wear the masks where one person didn’t. I told them I parked my car away from this place and still saying get your mask. Even government practices have masks at their desks how comes they don’t have masks for clients where we have to pay good money to see GP. Then I told then ok I can’t come back you can cancel my appointment and then girl said you have to pay $50 as you are cancelling in less then 4 hours. I left the practice now waiting for their fee invoice. I should read the reviews before make a booking at this place.

I turned up for my appointment well before time, was asked for my name and details upon check in and was given a new details form to fill in by someone obviously very new and needing training. No customer service skills at all. There were 4 people standing behind the counter, 2 of which doing nothing but I assume training the new lady. I was fine with the new policy of not being a bulk billing practice, expected to pay my $85 even though the billing structure on the website is super confusing. What I was not expecting was an outstanding bill for $50 which was for a phone appointment I apparently did not attend. Why was I told to sit down and fill out a form before this being brought to my attention? (Very loudly in front of the whole practice might I add). I felt belittled and embarrassed by the whole experience and I simply walked out. Where was this previous bill for the $50? It should have been emailed to me or communicated well before I booked another appointment. Disgusting service and very little regard for the reason for my appointment which was that I was in immense pain and needed help. I will never go back. If you see my details here, email the bill for the outstanding monies I owe, and I guess failure to show up to today's appointment. It seems all you like here is money now not helping people.

Booked an appointment Via health engine for Travel Vaccination and called them cancel 3.5 hours before the appointment as they did not have nurse coming on that day but i was told i will be charged for $50 cancellation charges as Cancellation policy require 4 hour notice but when i searched on their website and found in the Frequently asked questions that 2 hour notice required and i told them the same but reception said that it is incorrect information on website and i will have to pay $50 cancellation charges. Very Disappointed the way they try to steal $$$$ from your pocket. Website states something and their policies states something else. At last i was told that these charges will remain as debt on my record. No Cancellation policy mentioned on health engine and even not mention in confirmation email. No Doubt why they are keep getting Bad reviews. Their reply to some reviews is also in very bad manners.

I Will never return. Don't go there if you are looking for good service.

The receptionist is soooo rude! I had a phone call appointment at 10am but did not receive the call from the Dr. After waiting for 1 hour, I called to them said I didn’t receive the phone call. But they said they called but I didn’t not answer! And I still have to pay for the fee! Blow my mind!
I said I was with the phone the whole time. The receptionist blamed it was my fault as they did call! Unbelievable!
Horrible service.
