Manuka Shopping Precinct reviews
46Marvelous shopping centre, eateries, pubs, supermarket, upcoming hotel, pharmacy, gym, church, petrol station, etc. Basically a small town right in the neighborhood.
Bit quiet these days though most of the eating places are well patronised. The supermarket is good. Sad that The NAB has closed its branch.
Fantastic range of dining options, which covers most tastes. Good shopping. Nice square for coffee.
We came here for dinner on the 3 nights we were in Canberra, lots of restaurants to choose from, Chinese/Malay the first night Italian the second and Contemporary Steakhouse for our final night, had cake and coffee at one of the Cafes too.
The shops are colourful and welcoming lots to see, enjoy a coffee sitting in the sun or in the manuka courtyard just lovely. There are alot of so called designer dogs not being looked after at all by their so called designer owners its be seen shopping centre. But still well worth visiting
Clean. Very welcoming area to visit with lots of food places, one of the nicer areas of Canberra.
Great for shopping and for having a nice lunch or dinner.
Great fresh food, fresh seafood, fresh chicken & meat.
The two delicatessen have enormous selection of fresh cheese, charcuterie.
There is a bakery health food shop, nuts and dried foodstuff. It is a great place for lunch several places asian with the best pho, roast pork chicken, fish chips, pizza a 4 cafes
Good restaurants and sundry shops. Parking sometimes difficult. Clean, tidy and good atmosphere.
This might be my new favourite for Chinese food in Canberra. Didn’t manage to snag any photos as the food was all gone: P
There’s so much nostalgia loaded into the flavours here, 10/10 for almost making me cry from homesickness.
The pumpkin and prawn dumplings were so good. They’re not too sweet and are reminiscent of standard Hargow. The beef stew with brown gravy/sauce was exceptional. A huge portion, perfectly seasoned, and the beef was fall apart tender. The duck pancakes were also really great! This is the type of duck pancakes that’s a chunk of duck breast with skin, and not just the crispy skin as is more popular in Cantonese/Beijing style duck pancakes.
Some nice swanky shops, and very tasty cafe food. However, bathroom facilities are woeful - many cafes sharing a single toilet, which is smelly and unclean, and not accessible to people with injuries or disabilities that make steep stairs a challenge. When enquiring, I was told that the nearest accessible toilet facilities were in a shopping centre some distance away, or we could take our chances at McDonald's. Very disappointing for one of the ritziest (and most expensive) parts of Canberra!
Plenty of good restaurants and bars with an excellent mix of on trend fashion houses have a beer at public then go buy yourself an new outfit and have dinner enjoy
Pleasant shopping and dining precinct with easy parking, old world charm and upmarket retail outlets.
Great range of stores but none open after dark apart from Coles. Terrific restaurants with great food and friendly service - well at least at Bambusa (Chinese) & Belluci (Italian) as we were only there 2 nights
Good range of shops, but with COVID many have made the decision to not open during the lockdown. Looking forward to seeing them back open soon
A great local shopping centre and a Mecca for foodies. Go to Precious Jewellers where they have great in house designed and manufactured jewellery.
We waited a long time for breakfast to be served. I had to wait 10 mins after others received their meal. Eggs benedict overcooked and omelette had piles of sliced ham dumped in middle. Cappuccino week.
Wouldn't go there again.
Busy shopping precinct. Many eateries on street. Coles supermarket on site. Parking difficult to find.
Nice enough shopping centre very overpriced lots of homeless and beggers to accost you and a lot of barefoot hippys who love coffee
Outstanding visiting Annes Tailor for excellent workmanship and Carla Zampattis store may she RIP.
