Local Press Wholefoods / Giles Street Kitchen reviews
25Hidden gem. I had the rosti, flavours on point, amazing organic chocolate smoothie.nice friendly staff. Highly recommend
Ended up here at the end of a mystery picnic, the platter was divine. Massively recommended.
Great for gluten free diners! Lots of options on the menu plus in the baked goods cabinet. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Big portions as well. We spent $55 for 3 dishes plus a coffee.
We went there for breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious. We loved the decor. The atmosphere was quite impressive. They also have some organic items to buy from. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I would love to come back.
I can’t stop thinking about this meal (while sitting back home in Sydney). I think it’s the best breakfast I’ve ever had. It was delicious and wholesome ️
I made a catering order for 60 people with Local Press Cafe and Wholefoods and I was extremely impressed. The order was fully vegan, gluten free and had a range of nut free options, and yet they managed to provide a delicious range of food across 5 courses. The amount of food was perfect for 60 people and I can't emphasis enough, it was absolutely delicious! I will certainly be coming back to the Local Press Cafe and Wholefoods for any future catering needs and I would strongly recommend that you do the same! Thank you!
I really enjoy this place. It's a small place, where the front half sells bulk goods and the back half is tables. It's a limited breakfast menu, but it gives you the choice to select lots of beautiful add-ons (like broccolini (really yummy) or haloumi). They make a great coffee
This place is just round the corner from my work and we go almost everyday. Every single coffee has been delicious! I have never been to a coffee shop where it's been so reliably good! Keep up the good work!
Good coffee and nice food but fairly pricey. Eh it's Kingston, guess you have to expect that, right. Oh, and their large coffee is the size of a medium in any other part of Canberra.
One of the best Charcuterie boards you can find from a caterer. Awesome option for a corporate lunch. Also recommend their frittatas and quiches as well. Olivia was incredibly responsive and accommodating to our last minute request.
Some good gems to be found here, a bit of everything, whole foods, nuts, a healthy bite to eat too.
Local press catered for my morning tea. Their cakes and slices were delicious, and were very well presented with dried fruits and chocolate coated nuts. Everything was also dairy and gluten free! Thank you!
Best grazing boxes I've ever had! There was such a range of goodies in each box and all of the flavours went to well together. Most of the boxes were vegan and met our dietary needs perfectly. Olivia created exactly what we wanted and we will definitely be back! Cannot recommend them enough.
Everything is amazing here. Great coffee (and glad they serve Oat milk) and their green smoothie is a must try! Has a great buzz and seems like it's popular with locals.
Oh my god. Attended today and had the best coffee since moving to Canberra 3 years ago. Such a special find; the bulk foods store is wonderfully set up and although I expected the cafe to feel crowded being in the middle of the store, it was perfectly peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful patient staff and the best coffee ever! See you again soon.
I really disappointed. You pay over $40 For two toasted sandwiches and one of the sandwiches has been burnt on one side. Won’t be coming back
A bit on the expensive side but a quality takeaway. Nice variety of funky supplements to the boring run of supermarket food. Good respect for environmental and veg sensibilities.
Great coffee and good, wholesome food. The spiced lamb sandwich is great, and the honey roasted macadamias are to die for.
I always love cafes that serves healthy and wholesome foods. Go to insta feedthisdiva for the full review!
