Kingsleys Chicken Erindale

Always look forward to Kingsleys when I come visit Canberra! Very delicious food, always loved Kingsleys as a kid, and still remains my favourite takeaway restaurant to this day. It's like KFC but BETTER! And cheap too! My partner loves it too, and I'm so happy to have introduced him to Kingsleys! Now if only Kingsleys were in Sydney where we live, that'd be a dream come true.

Run like a well-oiled machine, it's obvious that the manager (owner?) takes enormous pride in his store and the staff's ability to deliver excellent service. The food is good and the service is amazing. I love that they treat their customers so respectfully. Great work, team.

Chips have changed (no longer awesome) and my chicken was under cooked. Had blood in it. I miss the old chips. Will never come back (was a regular)

Cajun Pulled Chicken wrap is excellent and full of flavour. How the do it for the price I'll never know

Normally i enjoy it but this time it was just not great. Even given allowances for being busy.

What happened to your chips? Is it just due to the shortage? Will you ever go back? Surely you're losing business over this. Have you given anyone an answer?

Was ok service. We waited a bit longer than necessary due to them giving our order to the person that came in after us but otherwise the food was good. Fried chicken is fried chicken.

This glorious canberra institution is a must visit along side questacon and the canberra zoo.

Kingsleys quite simple dumps all over KFC and you can't tell me otherwise.

M4 should be your go to. Don't argue just do it.

It gets busier than a rabbit stud farm and the car park there is bloody atrocious but I'll take crowded confined spaces in a pandemic and 2 new door dings if it means I get to drink half a tub of gravy and cry a little when I'm finished slogging that M4 down my gullet.

Standard fare Kingsley's chicken restaurant that mainly serves takeaway. There is no Sunday and public surcharge, and delivery is free to nearby suburbs.

Please note that service can be slow during peak times and staff will focus on getting orders out over taking orders at the counter.

Plenty of parking out the front and in the Erindale shopping area.

Very disrespectful every time I visit, I never got exact what I ordered. Counter service guy always in bad mood never reply properly.

Absolutely worst service. The girl serving us was chewing gum and was just under the pump. Not accomadating at all, asked for fresh BBQ chicken, wouldn't do it. If I am paying for it whats the difference. From Kingsleys years ago to now what a decline. Would never go back.

Worst takeaway ever, didn't get what I ordered Chicken Breast Burger was small with next to no salad, asked for a Chicken rib piece didn't get it, not to Kingsley standard, will not be back.

Worst Kinglsey’s in Canberra!
IF, you actually get acknowledged by the staff and can place an order, you’ll be served under cooked chips and dry over cooked chicken.
Done waste your time here, it will be better spent driving to Lanyon, Queanbeyan or Weston

Very greasy food, most well go and buy a bottle of oil, cook my own chicken, then drink the oil. I must say though, their chips are pretty good.

The chicken was very fresh and the special offer for the wings was a very good extra.the service was very good and helpful

I asked for the food to be cooked fresh for my wife who is pregnant, manager looked at the bain-marie with the food just sitting there, looked at me and said, 'it is fresh. ' Whenever I've asked for fresh food for my wife last time she was pregnant they were very understanding and just made some more food. Very dissapointing.

Pretty bad service. Click and collect said ready for pickup and still had to wait in store with no explanation

Snitzel burger, fried chicken pieces chips service and wait times were all great but I don't like their gravy.

Pretty bad communication as we had some misunderstandings with our meal, but all in all they ended up being helpful and apologetic. Food wasn't too bad.

When I first moved to Canberra had no idea what kingleys was but now all I have to do is suggest it and the family agree best deals fresh and easy online ordering system and you can choose to have the chips made fresh when you get there
