Kingsleys Chicken Belconnen

We bought the 21 pieces southern fries chicken for an affordable price. The chicken is juicy, crispy, and a perfect combination with rice and chilli.

Chicken and chips were as per the normal experience, but the customer facing staff couldn't understand my order. It wasn't even complicated

Despite my high ratings for the food the serving sizes at this place is abysmal. Don't order the regular or large size chip bags as they don't actually fill up the bag all the way which is complete scam especially the regular size. The regular size is just a filled small chips bag with a few extra chips on the sides of a bigger bag so you basically paying more money for small chips again what a complete joke i don't understand the logic behind this? For the large bag they only filled it up half way and to get it filled up all the way you have to order family aka spent just a bit more money just to have the large bag actually filled up. The chicken is also very greasy and oily which is to be expected from a place like this.

If you understand how the kingsley sizing work and happy to spend the extra dollars on it then the chicken and chips are quite tasty and their gravy is to die for despite the prices for them being a rip off.

Roasted chicken was dry and chips was dry aswell most times than not, tried to ask for a fresh cut piece of chicken and the manager wanted to argue that the chicken isn't dry while hiding the dry part of the chicken with the tongs while trying to put it in my order.
Do yourself a favour and go to charcoal chicken in charnwood or red rooster.

I was really looking forward to the "awesome chips". I was sadly disappointed. They were just crinkle cut chips with a tub of gravy for $10. Next time I'll go to KFC.

Very disappointed with the chips. Pale, soggy and undercooked. What have you done to your lovely golden crispy chips. Cost cutting is not doing your brand any favours.

Kingsleys is well renowned for its 'awesome' chips. Awesome is defined as extremely impressive or daunting; inspiring awe. While adequate/good, sadly the chips failed to inspire awe in those dinning who, thanks to the magic of advertising, had high expectations.
The burgers were nice, although have shrunk in size during COVID like George costanza after a swim in a cold pool

Always fast and friendly service. I mean, they're not always smiling but that's because there's usually 3 people working the whole restaurant with a line out the door and online orders buzzing every few minutes. Because it's SO good. Could be cleaner, but like I said, they're flat out! Furniture is dated, but when the food tastes so good, no-one even notices! Highly recommend.

Very average foods. Chickens are soggy, overcooked and tough. Deeps are not good at all. I would rather go to kfc than this place

Love the there chicken it’s very juicy and favourable and staff very professional well dressed clothes are not dirty and Resturant is kept clean

Great chicken, awesome chips. Fantastic value. Looks a little run down in the eat I area, but hey, you aren't coming here for the ambiance.

Awesome chips. I don’t think so. Just normal crinkle cut from supermarket freezer. Not even salt. Chicken is ok but burger looked like they stepped on it before giving it to me. Go to a charcoal chicken place. Better.
Oh sorry it’s Canberra. I should have known. Go to Sydney and Melbourne to find charcoal chicken.

Quick and efficient staff. Chicken's nice. My wife's fave. Lots of my friends really like chicken here.

Love the Kingsley Shop there, Prices from Kingsley aren't bad, Chip could be cheaper for family sized but I recommend a double fillet burger /w gravy and coleslaw. Chicken is nice and fresh and doesn't disappoint.

Paid extra for drumsticks and thighs got 5 wings 1 drumstick 1 thigh and 3 breast
Called to let them know and the person who answered me kept saying I don't know what your talking about and that he didn't understand what I was say so I gave up and ended the call

For me, the best southern fried chicken in Canberra! Great value for the price you pay. Flavorful chicken, crunchy chips, great salads.

Always awesome food in this Kingsley. Drive all the way from Woden for this Kingsley chicken and chips and to see that Punjabi girl who wear locket with shah surname. I have crush on that girl. I tried to talk to her many times but she is not chasing. Overall, always good experience at this place. Looks smile hardly but whenever smile
