Tyson, knows his onions, is keen as mustard, and has a great sense of humour. He saved me and my best friend a whole heap of cash, retrieved from storage at an Olympic pace and really gave us both his whole attention. Important when buying shoes. A five star job. Thanks.

The clothes at this store are made extremely well and the staff are always willing to help. My advice though is to wait until a sale is on before you buy. The prices may seem a bit inflated so ask the staff if there’s a sale on or coming up. Sometimes the store will have a 40%-60% off sale. And don’t be put off if the sale applies to members only because it doesn’t cost money to become a member and you can sign up on your first purchase.

I agree with the other people on here that when it comes to returning a product, the staff and manager are rude. I walked in with a smile and a pleasant attitude and was met with instant rudeness and defensiveness from the saleswoman as soon as I mentioned I would like to return the coat. It didn't matter what I was going to say, they were just ready to rebut it regardless. There was no "I'm sorry to hear that" just an instant jump to making the process very unpleasant and confrontational. I then had to re-explain the issue to the male Manager who was also rude but worse, quite intimidating in the way he spoke to me. I felt like I was being treated as dishonest. The reality is that the coat did not perform as advertised - I wore it to the movies and I was cold, I'd hate to think how cold I would feel if I actually wore it outside in the winter. Although I had one tag left on the coat and I only wore the coat once (and was freezing), I was told I couldn't return the coat without the second tag which was the price tag. This is incorrect, when a product does not perform as advertised, a consumer does not have to return it with the original packaging. The manager tried to make me feel that I was being unreasonable because as he said "other people are walking around Canberra wearing the coat and how wold you feel as a customer if they had to buy a coat you had worn" I was confused and perplexed by his poor and aggressive attitude. I explained and showed that the coat was in perfect condition and whilst I couldn't account for other people's satisfaction I can only explain how I have found the performance of the product. The manager badgered me so much that I left in tears. Never will I go back to that store again. This Manager needs to learn that customer service doesn't stop at the sale. If you want long term customers, you need to make the return process as easy as possible.

Terrible customer service even manager was also rude, I won't buy any single Kathmandu products in future, not listening us at all, selling faulty product and not accepting it, Big No to woden Kathmandu

Friendly service, a real effort to get something in for me and a prompt call to advise it was in. I look for good customer service wherever I go and I found it in this store. Recommend.

The items I was looking for were in stock. They appear to be severely understaffed, but the guy I dealt with was helpful when available.

Personalised service. I needed very specific shoes for problem feet and the staff was wonderful. I walked out with a smile on my face wearing my new shoes.

Understaffed, especially being such a large store that can seem congested with products.
Staff were acceptable and did there best to ensure everyone was tendered to.

Helpful staff, good range of clothing, well priced during sales or clearances. Clothing transfer between stores went awry, but staff arranged home delivery for it.

Amausing selection of outdoor adventure gear. Prices are unfortunately ridiculous so wait for the sales.
