Kambah Medical Centre

Didn't have a very good time with the Receptionist. Made me feel very unwelcomed in the clinic and disregarding the feelings i might feel whilst on the phone. Tried to find common ground and she stated "i don't want the doctor getting annoyed at me so I'm just going to wait for their response instead" All i had asked is just in between patients she could ask if the fax Laverty sent over can be handed over to me to collect.instead i needed to wait for an appointment and she cant help as the doctor was not responding - they wouldn't as they are very busy with patients.

I've dealt with 3 miscarriages this year and now I'm am now on my fourth pregnancy. All i wanted it clarification both myself and my baby are fine through my blood results. I do understand the clinic is busy but and instead of understanding the situation the reception was dismissive and made me feel like I'm trusting the wrong clinic with my health and wellbeing. I don't know if this is a place I would like to trust with my pregnancy now.

Dr Rupert Lui is AMAZING! Caring, kind, knowledgeable and never runs late. The world needs more Dr Lui's!

Not sure what's happening with the medical centre, phone line is always busy. Last time I have to go there to book an appointment, and when asked what's happening they said we are understaff. I called the centre in front of them and still no one answered. Do Kambah medical centre have any other appointment booking platform or the centre is closed.

If anything don't ever book with Anil Goel, he is rude and unprofessional to his patients. I booked with him once and it was the most awful doctors appointment I ever had. This appointment was ages ago but I still get angry with how he treated my Mum and I. The other doctors seem decent though, we still go there and book with Dr Soma.

The customer service is very very poor I m tried to call them from the morning I called them so many times but nobody picked my call. It’s very disappointed

Never wasting my time at this clinic. If you’re booking for 12pm you might as well go in at 1pm as Dr Dharmi runs so late. After waiting 1h or longer for your appointment it feels like you are diagnosing yourself and she is agreeing. Dr is very unprofessional and rushes your appointment, ignoring what health issues you need to resolve. She was trying to finish my appointment in under 10 mins and once I brought attention to this and told her I would like to discuss further regarding my issue. She told me to make another appointment and rudely said if you don’t leave I will not see you again. What makes her think I am coming back?

Laverty Pathology available within the premises. Pharmacy is in within reachable distance amd ample parking available.
Can get appointments by phone or online.
Always a busy place.

Dr Anil Goel is really good doctor and helpful. Take care of patient good. Professional and nice.

I have not been here in two years due to quality of care but suggested a friend go since she needed only quick check up and pain management for a recent spinal injury.
- Dr she saw advised HE WAS RETIRED and cannot prescribe the pain medication.
- As a new patient, none of the other doctors could prescribe her.
- Then encouraged the spinal injury patient to walk to the 'nearby' pharmacy because it is close. She discovered halfway there is actually a 350m walk. 8 days after broken spinal vertebra and surgery.

The Bulk bill, which is great and I really appreciate Dr Lui.

Note you need to go in and fill in a new patient form before you can book in to see a doctor.

I been to all the Doctors in this practise. Obviously, each doctors have their speciality field. I will recommend to use app to book for an appointment as much easier than waiting for phone and reception. Remember it is bulked bill place so appointments fill up quickly specially on weekend and expect some delays on appointment as they have to handle large volume of patients and all patients cannot be diagnosed in 10 minutes. If you struggle with back pain or weight issue, Doctors are helpful arrange back pain management workshop accommodated by ACT health.

The receptionist over the phone was rude and impolite. Felt really bad after talking to them. Doctors are good, but the front office need to improve.

Only good for a doctors certificate. Anything else and "we don't do that here, See tuggeranong. "

Useless and unprofessional doctor and that doctor is Anil Goel. This guy surely don't have professional skills to treat his patients. Been there to him and he just talk useless and unethical talks dont want to listen to his patients. I dont want to go much in detail here but want to say this guy surely need his training to be redone in terms of medical professionalism with patients. Very unprofessional.

The best medical practice in Canberra for me, Friendly staff and they always do their best to fit you in, even during busy times.

Reasonable for a bulk billing practice. I see Dr. Lui along with my family. Sometimes can feel a bit rushed but you get what you pay for with health.

I have been three times due to location only first for extreme pain down my right arm. Was told yes you have pain and given pain killers. No checking to find source of pain. Second visit same reason asked for pain medication and can they tell me what to do about it, got no help. Third visit different doctor, as professional chef I had an itchy rash on my back, took day off to ensure I was not contagious and told there wasn't much of anything on my back and use a moisturizer ever though my partner and my mother could see clearly. And while I was there asked for more pain medication for my neck and arm which still nobody offered a clue as to what the cause could be or additional tests, and was accused of doctor farming for codien and only after pushing was I given a script for 20 pills, have had condition for 4 months. I'm 60 years old not a young drug fiend and am sick of being told other medication works when I know for a fact it doesn't, will not be going back after that treatment

Great bulk billing doctors! I’ve been coming here for many years and they have updated it recently, showing that they actually improve and maintain it. The doctors are approachable, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful from my experiences. Wait time can be long at times, though this may suggest that the doctors are actually providing the required service needed, which is good. Bookings can now be made both online and through the phone. Moreover, with the update of this practice, check ins can also be done via a self serve kiosk, thus, decreasing wait times as receptionists are more free.
