Indian Pantry Restaurant reviews
48The food was explicitly delicious, and the staff was very friendly! Would differently recommend.
Bought a Chicken Biryani spending $19.90. Extremely Poor quality, felt like eating normal rice with chicken gravy. Do not recommend at all.
Great food and friendly efficient service.
Highly recommend as a lover of Indian Cuisine.
Attended a 70 birthday at the restaurant (seated about 25 guests). A banquet was served of various dishes. The food was excellent. The service even better, the young lady and young man (I believe the restaurant owners children) were very pleasant and had a wonderful demeanour. Highly recommend the food, the setting and the service. Go there and enjoy!
Food quite good & consistent as I've had dine in & take away several times but I'm disappointed by the deceptive advertising - I received SMS offer of 10% discount on takeaway but when I collected was told it was only for orders over $50. Restaurant staff were not interested in feedback.
Good selection of dishes and staff helpful. Meals were a good size and no issues with the taste.
Ordered for a delivery to arrive at 5: 30pm, it's now 6: 03pm and still nothing has arrived! The store staff were useless when I called to locate my order
Ordered a Pantry's Mixed platter (Good), Beef Vindalloo (asked for hot but it wasn't hot for me), Daal Makhani (good) and rice. Friendly service on the phone.
I have eaten from this restaurant 4 times in 2 years and each time I eat from here I end up sick in the stomach. I gave it one last chance this evening and once again I got sick. Will not be going to this restaurant again.
Having ordered take away, and eaten in, the food quality has been good on all occasions - one of the best in Canberra. And the takeaway has always arrived hot and tasty.
Amazing delicious takeaway, pick up was ready on time. However, restaurant needs music on for dine in customers as it is very odd and quiet. And while you are serving takeaway customers, please don't forget about the people sitting down as they waited a long time for someone to take their order
Lamb biryani was superb and excellent loved the flavour. Kashmiri rice was below average, spoiled due to raw dessicated coconut, coconut should be fresh in Kashmiri rice. It was filled with low cost dry dessicated coconut. Please maintain quality of that.
Have ordered takeaway twice from here and it was absolutely delicious. We asked for spicy and it definitely had a good kick to it.
Loved the butter chicken and the cheese garlic naan, would definitely recommend!
Indian Pantry is local to us and we really enjoy their food. We also appreciate the consistently good service and their delicious vegetarian dishes. We look forward to being able to visit their restaurant with friends again.
If I could give less than 1 star in any aspect to this restaurant, I would have given them. Avoid this restaurant guys. I ordered mix veg and palak paneer food from them and they came after 15 mins after many calls. I opened the box and just look at the quantity. With respect to taste, the taste was awful. The palak paneer was too much salty and naan tasted hard. Mix veg had no taste and vegetables were just boiled and tossed. Just avoid this restaurant guys.
Food great
Service great
And is less pricey in comparison to all other Indian restaurants. It tick all the boxes, so its worth a try. “RECOMMENDED”
We needed to feed goat hoof (paya) soup to our young son as he fractured his knee and the soup apparently helps with quick healing. The owner offered to make it for us and didn't even charge for making it and made really delicious soup.
Well here’s the honest review being a Punjabi i feel they got best punjabi food in Canberra! Must visit
I’ve ordered from here three times so far & i’ve actually really loved it.i get the same two dishes every single time & it still tastes amazing!
my favourite is definitely the tandoori roti & butter chicken; nothing can beat that classic.i’m definitely going to miss it when i move away from belconnen but most definitely this is my favourite indian restaurant in canberra!
Ordered at 8: 50 on menulog and set it for pickup. I was there just before 9 and they had it almost ready. I was out by 9: 05 and I'm very impressed with the time. The Butter chicken and rice I'd ordered were cooked to perfection, however the butter chicken comes on a little to strong with the sweetness.
