Indian Grill Restaurant

We went to this restaurant for a Friday dinner and ordered nine different dishes and waited for a long time. Meanwhile our toddler was getting restless and we wanted to go home asap.

We requested them to make it a take away so they could close their shop on time. They really appreciated it and served us the take away boxes. Also, they offered us with a complementary dessert. We were really happy with their attitude and service until then.

When we came back to home and unpacked the boxes, we found the item “Goat curry” was a complete disaster. We only found 90% bones and fatty pieces and we wouldn’t be able to eat any of them!

Also, the “Samosa” item they provided was not fresh.

The complementary dessert item was not pleasant as it wasn’t fully cooked, so we didn’t get a chance to eat it.

Unfortunately, after spending more than $100 here, we found the “tea” to be the only item worth consuming.

In a nutshell, we live nearby to this restaurant and we were so excited having dinner there for the first time, however the food quality made our first impression so bad, so we decided not to visit this restaurant in future.

I order deliver from here every now and again and thy always go above and beyond! Super fast, delicious food, reasonable prices and i got a complimentary desert which just made my night!

The naan was great, and that was it, unfortunately. The chicken and beef dishes looked and tasted the same. Very disappointing.

This place sucks big time. I had the worst quality chicken from here that I’ve ever had. Full of tiny little bones and no flavour. I do not recommend.

Better lunch special deal started. I tried Chole puri and Chole bhature with better price. Wrap has outstanding taste. Really Happy.

I have been there multiple times, on top of delicious food they have very friendly and professional staff. If anyone looking for something good and appetising you should try tandoori aalo paratha and veggie wrap in affordable price.

I had Lunch at Indian Grill Restaurant with family. Excellent service. Sizzler paneer Tikka and samosas were fresh and tasty. Curry delicious and Naan was soft enough that Kids were happy to eat Yummy food. Highly Recommend for quality food.

It’s my second experience with this restaurant. Consistently good food, we don’t go to anywhere else for our Indian food fix. Hot and fresh food and Excellent service. The naan’ s are so fresh. Curry’s exquisite. Great taste in Canberra

This is the best indian restaurant in Canberra. The consistency is remarkable, everytime you order it is always the exact same high quality. Once you have been here its hard to go anywhere else for Indian.

The meat was so hard and it was too dry…. We were not able to eat.unsatisfied with the food not worth for the money

I highly recommend this restaurant as they have got soft naan breads in Canberra and curries are mind blowing. Staff was so friendly last time when had dinner over there.

Absolute Rubbish. I do not understand other reviewers' ratings at all. We are Indian food devotees and eat this cuisine regularly. Our delivery experience was that the food at Indian Grill was some of the WORST Indian we have ever had.anywhere. The onion bahjis were more like insipid pancakes and ended up in the bin. The papadums were over done and unappetising. The mains were equally tasteless. The beef vindaloo was rubbery and lacking any defining taste and the lamb sagh was equally poor. The riata was a sloppy mess and the whole experience was not good. You can do better anywhere else.
