IKEA Canberra Restaurant

It had been ages since I had eaten here and I won't again. I had the barramundi burger and it just tasted odd. Not quite hot enough too. Service was ok.

A basic lunch not bad for price. Shopped for Swedish foodstuffs and reduction Chris's decorations. All good.

The meatballs are good but ive noticed today most of the cutleries and food tray are filthy!

The food was good, but I was short-changed by $20 when I checked my change later. I bought a hotdog with cheese & onion plus a small bottle of Coke Zero, and I handed over a $50 note. In change, I got $22. The mistake I made was to just put the handful of change onto my pocket in order to not spill my food.

The $10 for pasta and salmon seems okay at first, but then the taste was pretty average and very cold. Most of the items especially vegetarian options (even pasta) were sold out by 3: 30 pm on a Saturday.

Personally I wouldn’t recommend anyone to have here unless you are super super hungry. Drive a few kms and enjoy a proper meal at some other fast food.

Good budget meals. Fabulous dining area with plenty of natural light. Have dined here each time we visited.

4 stars because of the cups, that are not reusable.such a waste!
Also, the staff that is serving usually does not understand what we are saying. Even if we point to the food we want they have problems with getting it right.

Didn't go to the restaurant but we did shop. We think it is bloody fantastic but unfortunately we don't live here. This is a MASSIVE store and to do it justice you really need alot of time to browse. We bought things and got our daily steps up at the same time.

This review is particularly about the cafe at the restaurant i had to wait over 15 minutes after that that got my order wrong

Resturant is not what it used to be.food is still tasty but staff are serving you with a dish that is not like the picture they advertise at all. The quantity of the food the last two times we were there was much less and once the garnish was totally missing from plates. Check your reciept as well because you might end up paying for stuff not in your tray!
We paid for one extra dessert and two cream that we didn't pick!
Very disappointed because we like ikea and if staff keep continuing bad service more people will stop going to ikea, sale will reduce and eventually ikea might be closed in Canberra, don't u think? After all there are lots of online shops. We go to actual places for their good customer service if there is not a good customer service then what is the point?

The same old same old for an IKEA restaurant. Don't think they are what they used to be. My daughter got a kids vege hamburger it was that dry and crunchy the bun it was like it had been left outside for a week.

The food is good for the price, but it’s really nothing special. The service is not particularly great, and it doesn’t seem to be cleaned often enough. I’d eat there again if I were hungry and shopping, but wouldn’t make the trip to ikea just for it.

Constantly changing conditions and operating hours prove the IKEA restaurant is really trying to serve the public and have a safe hygienic place for the public to enjoy.
