Dr Cheung is an outstanding doctor. Very thorough and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommended.

I have been a patient at Hobart Place General Practice (and Interchange General Practice before that) for 30 years. I have always received great medical care and could not recommend the Practice more highly.

Low rating just for front desk who wasn’t helpful and there doesn’t seem to be any board which displays the name of the place. Missed an appointment because we went to wrong building and when we called the front desk they asked us to go to the back of the building when in fact it was the next building. Wasted time going around with a toddler in tow, then finally when we arrived, we had missed our timing and again the front desk curtly said we can’t rebook nor accommodate any further, as if we had been to see a cinema: (. My advise, if you are going there is to be early, cause parking is not a cake wake either and the reception will not help, they won’t even call and remind or ask if I am coming in or not. Basically they don’t care about what we go through sometimes. Whoever is reading this, hope god gives your good health and heal you, god bless. Thank you

Was taken in well on time. My doctor was very friendly and helpful. Efficient. The place was clean spacious and had all the covid precautions in place. Very happy with this GP practice

The admin made mistakes on my booking date and appointment type, but they insist that I must pay the DNA fee. How can I book a date that I already had sth else?

The doctors here provide a wonderfully inclusive service. I've seen a range of GPs and GP registrars and they're always friendly, thorough, empathic and professional. Highly recommend!

This was my first time seeing Dr. Melissa Bessel. First off, as a sure sign of her genuine care for patients, she had taken the lengths to call me for a telehealth appointment after I missed my appointment (and did not reschedule!).

Whilst it is usually very hard to open up about certain private issues, she listened with utmost attention and made me feel heard in the most safe and secure manner possible. A detailed treatment plan was recommended after she took the time to research the best options, after which she patiently explained the pros and cons for each. I could not recommend her highly enough - a leaning, non-judgmental ear from a medical professional can often be pivotal.

I have been going to this medical practice once a week for several months now for my various and ongoing medical conditions after seeking a new GP.

I must say Dr Rebbeca Uzzell who is now my regular GP is absolutely great.
She is very easy to get along with and friendly and not judgmental and attentive and does not rush her appointments and actually gives you time to talk and in return actualy listens to you.

She has helped me alot with my current physical and mental health issues which are many and diverse and complicated.

She involves you in your treatment and works with you as opposed to just dictating to you and ignoring your thoughts and feelings.

She has always been on time or very close to it and your not left waiting 1 hour or more as is sadly the case at many clinics and GPs.

The reception staff are friendly and helpfull and the practice while waiting has a calm and unrushed and relaxing feel to it and toilets are conveniently located just outside around the corner from the lifts directly at the entrance of the practice if you need one.

I can find nothing bad to say about the practice or my experience so far and am hoping and intending to be a patient here for a long time.

A good practice and GP in my opinion is hard to find these days and this practice and my GP are an absolute gem.

I attended Hobart Practice today. Reception were friendly, doctor on time (which doesn`t happen often). I left my previous GP practice because I was seeing a different doctor most times. I felt very happy with the care provided.

Hands down the best experience I have ever had with a GP, and the ACT health system in general!

I have been a patient of several doctors at Hobart Place General Practice for a decade or more. The doctors at this practice are outstanding, conscientious and can be flexible about bulk billing (or not). The employees-doctors nurses and admin staff-reflect the range of life styles and values in the community and caters among others to a diverse clientele, including LGBTQI, refugees.

As usual efficient and friendly service and got the flu shot while there instead of having to come back tomorrow.

Brilliant GP practice. We were visiting from Perth and they managed to fit us in and help our toddler out with her next vaccine! Dr Uzzell was lovely, as was the nurse.

My doctor was on time and I was also able to get my flu shot without prior arrangement. Ive been coming back to this practice for many years.

Kindness and understanding was the order of the day for me. I couldn't make a physical appointment so a last minute cancellation was followed up by a telephone consultation -was very good.

Despite my Doctor of 20 odd yrs retiring, I am still attending this Practice. The staff are all professional and go out of their way to help even in the smallest thing. The Doctors listen to you as a person, not just a patient and do not clock watch. Very happy to continue using this Practice.

Have been going to Hobart Place (and under Interchange GP) for over 20 years. Always found staff very professional and pleasant, doctors well trained and excellent. Look forward to a long association with them.
