Hellenic Club of Canberra

The food was average, then being refused service and offered water. Completely understand if i was Intoxicated. Went for a work Christmas get together. Will not return after a good night then being refused service for no reason. Wasted money on membership

The club itself is very nice and well presented. The meal we had at the bistro was also lovely and the prawns actually had garlic in them. Would prefer wine comes in piccolo size bottles please. We shall be returning.

I visit frequently because the club has a great atmosphere with friendly and efficient staff. Food and beverages are well priced and good. Highly recommended as one of Canberra's good entertainment venues.

The Lemmon and garlic chicken breast was dreadful. I’ve never had chicken that was crunchy and I had to spit it on my plate. For such a nice place I was extremely disappointed.

Who ever is responsible for the beer lines should be sacked. Beer was flat. I purchased bottled beer at the bar for the first time in my life. I won’t be back. Staff were friendly

Horrible food, rude waitresses and to top it off you can't even enter the carpark without getting a police clearance.

I think you guys need to look up the definition of hospitality cause I have certainly never experienced any at the Hellenic club

Lovely place, all the gambling must be paying off with the update… lol. We came for coffee after yum cha for my birthday today. Loved that they have so many Greek mythology displays.quiet morning tea hanging out in such a lush place.

Surprisingly good Greek food served at the Filos restaurant in the Hellenic club.
The slow cooked lamb shoulder was tender and full of authentic flavor, the seafood marinara was also delicious.the serves are generous, we had to share the Baklava dessert which was also very good.

We went for yum cha @ginseng since our regular yum cha place is closed. Food is good, service is excellent. Suggest to book first, but you don't have to wait for too long if you come around 11.30am

Had a great time for a birthday gatho, a gorgeous girl named Ella server me at the bar a couple times and her customer service was absolutely immaculate, get that girl a raise! ️ loved the service all together?

We had a great family lunch on Sunday. Place was packed! Kids had a ball. Food was yummo as usual!

Last time I went there was over 15 years ago because I haven’t had the chance to go back to Australia but hands down the beat seafood fisherman’s platter, I ever had (visited 3 times in a 20 day visit to Canberra)

Attended a function here. The food was very good and the service was great. A wonderful experience!

Best in town Guangdong style breakfast. Nice place in general. Membership costs 10 dollars per year which is very cheap when factoring in free parking.

Quite expensive, traditional pub dishes are average, and their greek dishes are quite disappointing. I ordered the moussaka, was told it was vegetarian and it came very obviously with beef mince. They gave me spanikopita instead but a really small piece and still charged me the same (I should have been refunded the difference which was atleast $5).

Never had a good experience here. Awful staff, rude security and terrible management who agree with the irrational decisions of the uneducated, hostile security guards. Security called me a “feral slut” and said they would “bash my boyfriend”, because he was wearing his hat in the club. I would recommend 100 bars in Canberra over this one.

The Bistro is always a good place for a good quality, inexpensive meal. Good live music at the weekend.

I'm lucky one if the places Kevin Bloody Wilson chooses to perform is at the Hellenic Club and has for many many year's but it's not just comedian's they have musicians and singers put that two together and we have... A Band, see what they have to offer, THE LOVELY STAFF at reception behind the bar, security and so on have never made me feel unwelcome by anyone.

Great place to chill, the restaurants and bars cater to almost anyone. Great live band performances and parking is freeee!
