16 Please fix your onlone booking system!
The Drs are great and reception staff but their online booking system is always off-line and it is very frustrating to try and book ahead for an appointment. I have also not been phoned to advise of my flu swab results which were positive. I was told I would only be phoned if they were positive and I recived a call two weeks after swab test to be asked how I was recovering from the flu. It is good that they follow up to see how you are going but I never was even told I had the flu to begin with so had to work while sick.
I had a booking, it was changed twice because doctors had to go away, the doctor I had couldn't even read my report, I was rushed through, this practice doesn't care, they only push patients through for their fee, doctors changing every few months, I will be looking for a better practice that actually care about their patients
I had a Telehealth appointment here and never received a phone call for the appointment. I tried calling and was never able to get through. The phones were turned off! Please never go to this medical centre!
I am relatively new to this medical centre and I can complement the reception staff and doctors more highly.
I have never been rushed through an appointment and appreciate the care show by Dr Khor.
Very disappointed with the doctor and receptionist. Paid $95 for only one symptom consult with the doctor (less than 10 mins). Doctor won't answer you more than one symptoms. Receptionist - when you call for asking some questions, she was just hang-up you phone straightaway when she doesn't feel like to answer, rude and unprofessional.
My experience remains, observing the experience of others. I can clearly see, this clinic, along with it’s staff, play favourites. If someone looks like they have money: response - be nice.
If someone is of colour and struggling: response - judge harshly. If someone is old: response - respect but make them wait. If someone is pretty or good looking: response - take your time and perv/flirt/envy etc etc
The point being, there is no culture of customer service taught to the staff, ie.respect for all no matter what creed, colour, age, gender or aesthetic and to serve.
Get with the program people.
We are all equal in the eyes of God.
No one person is greater or lesser than the next.
We all deserve to be cared for and looked after - you are a medical clinic after all. Perhaps you had forgotten that…
I was charged $90 for a 5min telephone consult to get a repeat prescription only. I spoke with the practice manager, to whom I suggested bulk billing would be suitable, who did not see issue with charging the full amount at all and would not budge.
Suggest only attending this practice if you enjoy throwing away money.
The doctors and other staff are very helpful, caring and take the time to listen to concerns. Do not feel rushed at all. Very thorough!
Pathetic service. Waited for 30 minutes with an appointment and still not get to see doctor. Have to left after waiting for so long. Don't recommended if you're punctual and have proper schedule.
OK, so I waited 25 minutes to see Dr Thayaparan. Big deal. Waiting half-an-hour is annoying but standard in Canberra. Glad I waited as Dr Thayaparan identified the issues and provided good treatment. The doctor I went to with my son at another clinic last week probably can't even tie his shoe laces. Dr Thayaparan is cautious, friendly, highly educated and experienced. This came through in her proposed treatment plan. Thank you.
There is no doubt in the quality of service any of the doctors provided in this centre. Since we moved to Canberra we have been regularly visiting This medical
Centre.
Today I was really disappointed by the way front staff was behaving due to constant coughing of my daughter.
Some so called educated people went outside the medical
Centre and waited for their turn.
After we visited doctors I noticed that the seats we were sitting were all wiped.
Please be aware what would you do if some one from your members were coughing? Would you go and seat outside? Would you wipe and clean whole house?
I would also advise the front staff to throughly wipe and clean the carpets and their brains too.
Staff are nice and doctors and nurses are excellent, but they need to work on their puncuality. The average additional waiting time beyond your appointment is 15 to 20 minutes. This is based on my regular visits over the last two year
Professional and friendly service demonstrated by all staff and Doctors on each and every visit. It is good to see a practice that is dedicated and committed in keeping a clean and sterile waiting room and consultation rooms.
I have been attending this practice for years, including with my young family. Dr Htut and Dr Pahn are outstanding. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. Note: the practice bulk bills for children but not for adults, which is normal in the ACT.
If you value your time and money avoid this place. Not only do they not bulk bill but you'll have the pleasure of enjoying their waiting room for a minimum of 30 minutes before seeing your doctor.
Think booking first thing in the morning will avoid the delay? Think again. 8: 30 booking and ended up seeing the Dr at 9: 10.40 minutes for second appointment of the day. Tell em they're dreaming.
Disgusted at the service. A bunch of thieves. Makes me sick. Worst medical centre I have been to in my whole life.
