I have been going here for over two years and they are like a family. All staff have that lovely smile of welcome. Sometimes I mess up with my appointments and all it takes is a call to them, not that hard, they are there to help. It is so nice to walk it and be greeted by my first name. Even when they have new staff you can joke with them as they have a L for learner so I say when do you get your Ps, so friendly and I have had no problems with any of the GPs so a huge thumbs up to all who work at the medical centre. Remember communication (have a issue call or just go in and have a chat they don't bite. All smiles this end

I have been coming to this practice for 7 years. I never have an issue with getting a prompt appointment (usually within a day for my regular GPs, Dr Ramchander or Dr Laloma), nor waiting time at the practice.

The service received from reception, nursing staff and doctors is respectful, caring and professional. I feel I am a partner in my health care, and trust the staff here implicitly.

Went to see Dr Ramchander, him and the team were very friendly and efficient. Can be hard to find a reliable GP in Canberra but the team here are great!

Have been seeing doctors here for approximately 1year, I have been out of work for 2 years injured, booked an 30min appointment thinking it was bulk billed at 10: 30am, after waiting 1&1/2 hours to see the doctor I got slapped with a $180 bill. When I disputed it saying that I am a bulk billing customer I was referred to management, the manager said sorry you were booked for 10: 30am. This is a rip off. 1.5 hours waiting and double billed. I was then told there are no bulk billing practices in canberra any longer! So why should we pay Medicare any longer. This is very un Australian. It is very clear now that doctors are only interested in our money and not our health. Very very upset about this treatment and will be taking my business to a different doctor from now on.

I had an appointment with Dr Jane Laloma today and she is absolutely the best! Not only did she provide me with full transparency on my injury, but she also followed up with making me a specialist appointment on the spot.
I am extremely grateful to have been seen by her. Such a lovely experience.

Diagnosed by Dr Kuan - Lung infection (pneumonia) given 2 days off work? Check medical history. It will help. Then told to come back in 2 days if still sick? Second day, still sick, this was my second visit in 3days, refused to make it number 3, returned to work with lung infection. Feel ripped off.

A hidden gem! I've lived in Gungahlin for 10 years and never been to this clinic until recently. Gungahlin Family Healthcare is one of the best services I have been to, reception is clean and tidy, the receptionists are kind and attentive. My family sees Dr Jane Laloma, she is very professional and takes her time with you. Sometimes the doctors run late however they seem to take their time caring for you when it is your turn. All the staff are lovely and it is so nice to know our whole family is taken care of by this team of professionals. I am glad I found this place!

I’ve been coming to the practice for years. The reception and management staff are always warm and welcoming. Doctors never make you feel rushed, I recommend Gungahlin Family Healthcare to all my friends and family.

I don't give reviews. But Dr Randhir is very professional, polite and paying attention to all your concerns. I took my mum but haven't seen someone like him who takes his time. Highly recommend Dr Rhandhir will definitely come and see him again. Thank you!

Dr Hafeez did a wonderful job on removing a nasty spot on the side of my nose. He was very professional and caring. I would definitely recommend him if are worried about any skin spots

Don’t ever see Hafeez and Banerjea. They have no willing to look after patients except chase your payments. Very poor doctor’skills and knowledge. Not nice people!

The best medical practice in Canberra. Reception team are always so friendly and helpful and our GP (Dr. Ramchander) is absolutely fantastic.

Some of the worst service I've ever had from a GP practice in my life - and I've been to dozens over the years as I used to travel a lot.

They have a GP who is supposedly consider the "best complex mental health needs GP" in all of Canberra - yet who frequently cancels appointments with no notice, despite having to book 3+ months in advance to even get an appointment - and sometimes then even cancels the follow up appointment after waiting on their cancellation list and thinks it is ok to then put the appointment off until January or offer the patient a 9am appointment when they are aware the patient is currently working 6pm - 2am night shifts and wonder why that isn't convenient for the patient.

The GP and practice manager seem to think this person's patients just book appointments for fun - they definitely don't have urgent medical needs they have been waiting to see the GP about, issues that can't just be put off for months more a time when they have already waited 3+ months for an appointment to begin with. As for the practice manager herself - cold, uncaring, heartless, lacking any compassion or understanding and frankly just plain out rude. Don't expect any sympathy for your situation from this person, nor any offer of even the most pathetic alternative care in the meantime, you're left out in the cold and the practice manager could not give a sh*t.

As for the quality of the other - mostly bulk billing - GP's at the practice: mediocre at best, useless at worst. I am so glad to have finally parted ways with this practice and all of the GP's who operate there - they have been nothing but extremely difficult and provided mostly very poor care during my 3 years as a patient there. I put up with it because for a long time there my mental health was so poor I just didn't stick up for myself and my rights, but the moment you do be prepared to be shown the door quick smart - how dare you complain about inadequate patient care, shocking that a patient would expect an actual decent level of care here!

Speaking of inadequate care - how about being put on a dangerous new medication just prior to Christmas that you then have an extreme adverse reaction to and the doctor isn't available again until February - that is just one of many examples of the reckless and dangerous treatment I received at this practice. You are honestly better off lining up and waiting hours at emergency at the hospital than booking in to see a doctor here. People with disabilities deserve better, frankly I'm considering lodging formal complaints with the medical regulator over the very poor standard of care I received here. There are many better practices to choose from not just in Gungahlin alone but in Canberra as a whole, do yourself a favour and throw a dart at a map - you're more likely to find a decent doctor that way.

Dr Aninda Banerjea is one of the best GP I have visited in Canberra. He is polite, friendly and of course professional.

Dr Ramchander is the best GP we have experienced. He is caring, kind and professional and listens to his patients. He is so good with children. Will always be our family doctor!

I have had great care from many doctors at this practice for a range of medical issues, long and short term. In terms in mental health care, I credit Dr Gooding with saving my life and being one of the only doctors I have met who has taken a genuine interest in my health and wellbeing. Sometimes the wait can be long, but I would rather wait in this practice than be seen quickly by another.

Disgusting service. When your website and booking process is not CLEAR of who does and doesn’t bulk bill and what times bulk billing is and isn’t! It DOES NOT SAY ON MY APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATION THAT THIS DR DOESNT BULK BILL! As the photo attached prooves!
When a person is unwell and NEEDS to see a Dr, yet you turn them away rudely without even asking the Dr if they are prepared to wave and bulk bill because of your confusing booking process. And then not even suggest to be seen by another Dr or offer a new appointment. Or even ask if I am ok? ! Absolutely appalling service in the medical industry.
I have worked in priva practices and I know exactly how it works. Poor poor behaviour from the practice manager.
We have also been turned away with a very large cut that would not stop bleeding. How can you call yourselves medical professionals? !

The best medical practice in Canberra, all GPs are fantastic, I have been visiting this practice for 6 years now. Dr. Randhir Ramchander is highly recommended, he really take care of his patients and goes out of the way in order to provide best treatment. Staff and all GPs are great.
