Not recommend this company. We asked for a door to door service and after shipping arrived to the destination they requested a big difference of money. They don’t answer messages.

I had a terrible experience with Grace Sydney/ACT when I moved interstate.
For instance, one of the sideboards had been damaged, so it would require replacing a few panels. Then, when assembling the dining table, they drilled so far into the top of the table that they perforated it.
Another thing is that you have to chase Grace Removals when they do something wrong, and their management also needs to realize that customer service goes beyond signing a contract.
Very disappointing!

Should have gone to Kent - Out of pocket by thousands of dollars due to Loss, damage and broken promises.

Thanks to the Canberra crew yesterday from Grace Removals - Leia, Sam, Ben and Shay for your professionalism and dedication to the task! Our beautiful 3 bedroom home was uplifted in 4.5 hours and your attention to detail and amazing packing skills meant smooth sailing from beginning to end! Fingers crossed we get another amazing crew at our new place up north! Love your work! Kelly

Had to move a large 4 bedroom home in canberra and from first contact to the end of the job they where grate. At first contact with Sarah she whent above and beyond to help us as get the dates we needed to move as I had to have major surgery the week before the move and couldn't do anything.
The removelest showed up in time and managed to pack the house up within 2 hrs and unload into the new place within the same time. It was booked for a 2 day moive but was done in 1 which we where so hsppy could happen They managed to work around our 3 kids that we where getting ready for school and where very polite and freandly. Nothing was broken at all and they where evan able to pack a few things not quoted

The job was scheduled to be done in two days, instead they just did it in one whilst also rushing.one box was missing and some small items were too; stereo remote control, pc keyboard and mouse. When I asked about this, they just answered: "Our team had double checked, and nothing was missing or found in our Canberra warehouse. They have confirmed all boxes were empty and nothing was left behind". But the container loading chart showed the missing item, box number 277. Unprofessional behaviour.

The Removalists were on time, very polite and efficient. They moved furniture to access the rug, were very careful when wrapping the rug and put furniture back in place when the job was completed, and most importantly the rug arrived at destination in perfect condition.

I would never use Grace Canberra at all, ever. When our goods arrived at our home in QLD the Cairns removalists were shocked and described the container as one of the worst they have ever seen. Fridges, freezers, tv, pots, boxes crushed & belongings damaged. You only have two weeks to unpack all your belongings or you will lose the option to claim on insurance. For the price we paid we would expect exemplary service, we received far from it. As for the consultant who gave us this 'service' we have not heard a word from him, not one single phone call or email. Steer clear of Grace Canberra.

Grace did an excellent job on our recent move. We couldn't be happier with how they handled everything.

Obviously an interstate move is extremely stressful, but the team made it easier. They were all professional, polite, friendly, took good care of our items and had pride in their work. Nothing was a huge drama and we were able to largely leave them to their work. This contrasts with other removalists we've used where you're lucky if they even show up and you end up doing half the move yourself or having your stuff broken.

Flawless. Even though Grace isn't the cheapest, for the service we got and the amount of work involved I think we got good value.

Highly recommend Grace Removals for a move interstate. Staff are polite from those answering the phones, packing and moving your house. A positive experience in both Sydney and Canberra.

Grace doesn’t seem to have very good communication among their different partners across the states. Grace Darwin were very polite and very accomodating to all our requests. However, Grace Canberra insisted that our delivery was keyed in as a variable date and hence, they wanted to deliver our items on the 22nd of Dec instead of 13 Dec as originally agreed with Grace Darwin. After calling them up and raising a complaint, Grace Canberra managed to give us a delivery slot on 17 Dec. We had to continue paying for our Airbnb in the meantime and extend it due to their mistake at our own cost.
After the items were delivered, one of our side table was broken and our dining chairs had scrapes and a bad chip off the wood.
Called them up on 20 Dec to pick up the boxes as we had unpacked them all. They could only give us a date to pick them up on 24 Dec.

Unfortunately I never bothered keeping track of my boxes as some of them did not fit in container (truck) from Canberra to Brisbane and gone missing. The manifest list just makes the total number of items.who knows what else was missing interstate as its been 4 months now getting recollection what is missing. Shop around for other removalist, keep an eye out for your stuff ensuring EVERY box is tagged, and take photos of your boxes. Lessons learnt!

Warwick Foley (Branch Manager) and his team at Grace looked after us brilliantly. A large organisation with the service of a small family run business. Brilliant! Thank you!

Very poor. Our load went to Brisbane instead of Sydney so therefore arrived 3 days late. There was no counting of boxes when the load arrived and serial items were damaged. Would definitely not recommend.

Absolutely terrible service. Our furniture was damaged and items were not packed/protected. We did not get the services we paid for and the Canberra branch manager is unresponsive.

I am underwhelmed with the service provided by Grace and I believe they failed to deliver the services and quality quoted and promised by their sales representative.

Local Move:
- During our local move our wall was damaged (imaged attached), after three weeks and several emails/phone calls, I am yet to hear back from anyone at Grace regarding repairs. At this stage I believe I will likely be required to forfeit a percentage of my bond for repairs.

- Our mattresses were not protected in plastic and had dust/dirt marks on them. The plastic wrapping for them, turned up the next day.

Storage:
- I was told in person and in email correspondence that all items that did not fit into a “transit /tea chest box” would be “plastic’ed”/wrapped by Grace. I was also invoiced for packing charges that did not happen as the storage crew did not expect to have to wrap, pack or plastic anything other than larger furniture in blankets. In the end I was frantically bubble wrapping my large valuables (snowboards, etc). I am not comfortable with the amount of my items that went into storage unprotected (large pots, paintings, etc).

- I also witnessed three of my large storage containers hurtle down my driveway, as they fell off the trolley. I will be very fortunate if nothing inside the containers has been damaged.

To conclude I am extremely upset and disheartened with my experience, moving is stressful at the best of times but especially right before Christmas. My family and I trusted Grace to be the stewards of our belongings and I genuinely feel I did not receive the service or quality I paid for.

To make matters worse, communication with them regarding the above issues has been next to impossible. I have been met with an unapologetic attitude and told again and again that the branch manager has been informed, to date I have yet to hear back from the branch manager.

I can say with absolute certainty that I will not use their services for another local move again. I would much rather support a local small business, who I am sure would understand the value of a customer who has paid thousands of dollars for their services.

We had a great experience with Grace Storage and Removals. Friendly service and always very prompt in their response. The guys who helped us move were super professional and quick. All of our stuff was still in perfect condition. I won't hesitate to use Grace again.

Promises, more promises, nothing but broken promises - this is a summary of our experience with Grace Removers.
We were returning customers having been moved by Grace interstate 5 years ago. The service was great so this time when we moved, we decided to go with Grace again in spite of the fact the price was significantly more than their competitors. We used the packing service and were told that the move would take 3 days i.e pack on day 1, uplift on day 2 and delivery and unpacking on day 3. When the day came for packing, no one turned up and we were told that it was another customer's fault that the crew could not come. We were told that they would come in the evening but no one came. The manager then rang at 5.00 p.m. And assured us that he would commit 2 teams the next day so that they could pack and uplift the same day. He assured us that it would take no longer than 5 hours. Only one team turned up on day 2 to pack and the whole pack and uplift took 13 hours! To make up for the inconvenience, the manager provided us with a 5 hour complimentary valet service on the day of delivery (Day 3). The unloading took 5 hours but apart from the valet service, none of the other boxes were unpacked although we had paid for it. The next day (Friday) we received a phone call to say that the crew would turn up on Monday to complete the unpacking. Again, to no surprise, the crew could not come and the operations manager decided that it would be best for us that they turned up the next day. Having taken the Monday off, we insisted that it was unacceptable for us to wait another day. Who was he to decide what is best for us? Eventually 2 members of staff turned up. We had already done most of the unpacking by then.
The packing team were great, courteous and professional. However, the operations and overall experience well be;low par.
We can only describe the experience as most disappointing. Will we use Grace again in the future? This will take a lot of convincing!
