Pretty good, lots of little sections, visitors seem nice (no trouble makers). Perhaps a tad close to a busy road but not a problem if you watch your kids.

Only really used the skatepark part but seems very comprehensive on different parts of play areas even has a toilets. Presented well as it was clean and not vandalised with broken equipment.

Something for everyone. Small kids will like the climbing web, swings and slide. Bigger kids will like the skate park, cricket nets and soccer/basketball court. Gym kids will like the outdoor gym equipment. There are BBQs, toilets and plenty of shade areas and parking.

The park has great facilities and there were numerous young families using the park. The only downside is the length of the grass which is not a great surface due to the grass badly needing to be cut.

Not bad, but the kids playground is lacking. Something to climb on, but it doesn't really catch their interest

Fantastic park with so many different things to do. There are a lot of exercise machines, cricket nets, soccer area, skating slides. Too many to count. Kids of all ages can be kept busy here for a while. Plus there is a place to bbq as well. All in all one of the best parks in Canberra that I have seen till date.

Franklin Recreational Park is a fantastic facility for all families. There's plenty to do for little kids as well as the older kids.

There are plenty of playground equipment to keep kids entertained for hours. When not on the swings and the climbing equipment they can be playing basketball or riding their scooters in the skate bowl. They're also cricket nets to keep and wide spaces to throw the football around.

Go early if you want to picnic as the picnic tables fill up very quickly especially on public holidays.
