East Canberra General Practice

I had a really bad experience with one of the doctors here who I will not name. I was talking about my cptsd and all the ways the flashbacks affect me. The doctor said stop dwelling on the past look to the future! Apparently they were trained with mental illness.that makes People with cptsd or ptsd do not want to relive their traumas we want to get on with our life and saying stuff like that makes it sound like it’s our fault. Other than that horrible experience the receptionist were lovely and the waiting room was clean.

Excellent Doctors and high quality care. Especially from GPs' Dr Abby Krishnamoothy and Dr Aung Lynn.

I have been a patient at this surgery for three years now, having lost my previous GP to retirement. I have seen three of the Drs at this practice and each of them has been professional, knowledgeable and approachable. My main GP at ECGP is exceptional in all areas of her treatment. I feel extremely confident in the team. The front desk management team are just wonderful and the nurses are great as well. I would/and do recommend this surgery to others.

Fast, to the point, friendly, kind, easy to talk to and staff are switched on and helpful.

It was my first visit, but I was very pleased with the friendliness of staff and the competence of the doctor. I felt very well treated. Can definitely recommend.

After having been a patient at many different surgeries over time I have finally found a practice & doctor who genuinely cares for their patient. This practice is both personal and professional and I can’t recommend it enough.

I am only a new patient here, however have found all staff and Doctors to be extremely friendly and helpful.

Good place to visit for the GP appointment. But be little approachable in front desk they're too serious never have a eye contact when talking to you. Smile please its not the end of the world

Wonderful staff, friendly and professional care provided every time. Janine the Nurse is the best going around, especially for kids Immunisations. Highly recommend this practice for the whole family.

Very professional practice - caring and super-helpful from reception to Doctors and Nurses. Had lots of "jabs" there with no issues. It's also a great great location with easy parking and excellent Physios at "Ascent" next door. This place makes sorting out medical issues as easy as it can be!

Dr Curnow was exceptional at speaking to my child about sensitive topics. I’m so very grateful to her.

Dr Betty Ge is amazing! She was thorough and showed genuine care and interest in helping our babies get better. We are very grateful to find a doctor who really puts their patients first and isn’t rushing us out the door.

The process of gaining an appointment was easy, the staff were helpful and friendly at Reception. Contact by the Nursing and Medical staff on the day of the appointment was professional and very warm. It seems to me to be a great General Practice and one that I am sure to utilise again in the future. Thank you East Canberra General Practice.

I rang to make an appointment for a COVID booster vax. It was very easy to make an appointment, the check in process on line was very smooth and easy to follow, and the appointment was on time. My Medicare record was updated the same day. I would highly recommend this practice.
