Double Shot Deakin

Had a delicious brunch at Double Shot Deakin, possibly the best brunch we have had in the ACT. The only reason it isn’t a 5 star ️ review is because we were a bit disappointed that we received our iced latte in a disposable cup. Will have to remember to bring our keep cup next time!

Friendly professional staff, superb coffee, and a very excellent eggs Benedict. Top place for breakfast. Will go again when I'm next in Canberra.

Really wanted to have the pancakes but their new chef did not do special menu. But the Eggs Benedict & the Burrito was really good!

Great atmosphere and delicious food. Wish there were more vegan friendly options because I know they would nail it!

Tick tick tick. Opens early, great coffee and amazing food. I had some brekky burrito thing that was to die for.

The colour for a double shot latte is good but it tastes slightly burnt. Similar comments from the others who have a long black and cappuccino.

Extremely unorganised. Very dissatisfied. Very average food and coffee. Save your money spend it else where.

The peanut butter smoothie here is amazing! Make sure to get here early though if wanting to dine in, as it’s a very popular place and seating can book out quickly

A nice venue with lovely decor inside. We went at 11am on a weekday and it was pretty busy.
The menu was QR code-based inside and we needed to order at the counter. Food was delivered quickly and was yummy.
The only gripe I had was the price of my meal. For basic eggs Benedict with a side of spinach it $24.50. For a small iced long black (espresso + water) with a dash of milk it was $7. These prices were just a little too unreasonable, considering the size and complexity of what was ordered. Unremarkable for the price.

Quite a busy cafe, especially at lunch time, with a pleasant vibe. Interesting menu with vegetarian options. I was disappointed with my overpriced fish and chips. The zucchini noodle salad that one of my friends ordered looked and tasted good. My coffee was luke warm and the service variable. Sometimes it is excellent with delightful young friendly and helpful staff. It’s a popular catch up place for runners, cyclists and local workers. Between 4 and 4.5

Couldn't fault the coffee & didn't try anything else. A little pricey, but, you know, Canberra.

No paper menus and even worse, almost refused to accept cash payment. Only to short change. No quality of food can redeem these policies.

I used to love Double shot, however the vibe on Sunday morning was like no staff wanted to be there which was a shame because it used to have such a happy buzz! The food was also underwhelming.

Great coffee, great breakfast. Lovely people. Parking was a little tricky - but look behind the shopping centre for more than a one hour spot.

Great coffee, good food, terrible mobile reception but have fixed their guest wifi so it's a great place to do some work when in transit.

Quick seating with counter service. Good coffee - good Egg Benedicts on English muffins - perfect size - good service.

I went there for a quick trip to Canberra and I really enjoyed the coffee and liked the customer service.

Busy spot but the staff were very accommodating. Menu included vegan and health conscious options. Great coffee.

Great breakfast and lunch menu, with breakfast catering to both savoury and sweet palettes. Good smoothie, coffee, tea and Belgium hot chocolate options. Flavours of dishes and drinks are well balanced and delicious. Servings are sufficient and decently presented. If you're looking for huge serves at low prices, you may need to go elsewhere.

There is no table service and the menu is available via QR code. Large outdoor seating area shaded by many umbrellas. There is off street parking nearby. On this occasion lively atmosphere was created using 80s music.

A great place to drop in for a delicious meal or a refreshing drink and snack.

Great food and coffee offerings. Food is done well and service is very nice. A little expensive, but you really get what you pay for.
