Delhi to Canberra Indian Restaurant reviews
72 Awesome food.moved to canberra from sydney after living in sydney for almost 14 years, this is the only place i go for indian food in canberra.
I hope they keep the taste same
Absolutely delicious - I rate Indian restaurants based on their Palak Paneer & this one was delicious! Not to mention the sizzling Chicken Tika and Cheesy Naan… Owners and staff were really friendly - definitely worth a visit to eat in or takeaway (leftovers for lunch even tastier).
Amazing, food, great staff, worth the travel from the other end of canberra, even my 1.5 year old daughter enjoyed the hara bhara kebab and naans. Not to miss the amazing paneer dishes and daal.
Me and my partner lives around the area and we love coming here. We love the ambiance, friendly staff and ofcourse the food! Very yummy! Spicy but love it! A must visit Indian restaurant!
Same tasty taste since many years.one of the favourite restaurant for my Indian taste. I tried many restaurants in Canberra and so far no one had bet this restaurant taste.
Just a request to make cheese butter masla.
I got to hear positively about this restaurant from friends and today's experience confirmed it again. I would suggest try chef speical tawa goat if you like goat. Two curries we tried today were delicious, with soft and fresh naans. Please chcek and advise them if you are not confortable with spices. Staff was courteous with quick service. This small restraurant has my high recommendation for Indian cuisines.
Delicious, authentic meals, friendly owners and staff with excellent service and realistic pricing. Great little suburban gem.
We love Delhi to Canberra! Sumin, Raj and all the friendly staff always make us feel welcome and it honestly feels like a second home to us. The food is second to none in our opinion and is always so fresh, flavoursome and filling! I think we have nearly tried everything on the menu and every dish has been a winner. Its always a pleasure to dine out (or get takeaway!) at Delhi to Canberra. Thanks Sumin, Raj and their ovely team.
So bad experience.
Close your restaurant if you not give good food or care your customers.
Disappointing. The website suggested that it is open for lunch. Made three attempts to call before visiting to reserve a table; unsuccessful. Finally drove to the restaurant to find it closed. Was really looking forward.
It is a lovely restaurant with friendly staff, excellent food and beautiful decor (love peacocks? Wall decor). The entrees especially were amazing and very generous in size. Perfect place to have delicious dinner with your family and friends. I highly recommend this restaurant and definitely try the dessert platter.
Is this the best Indian restaurant in Canberra? Our SriLankan friend says so, and I can't really argue. Ingredients are very good quality, spicing is excellent and everything seems to be prepared when ordered (not pulled out of a bain-marie or a freezer).
Staff are always super friendly.
It's easily our favourite takeaway at the moment!
Utterly disappointed by their poor service. They took away my meal while I was still eating. Kindly never go there. You will waste your money.
This restaurant is located in the quiet suburb of Melba with easy convenient parking. I visited for a Deepavali dinner here with my hubby and 4 year old daughter. The food was great and ambience very friendly. The 3 waitresses on duty tonight were friendly, obliging and showed good knowledge of the menu items. One of them chatted away with my daughter and even offered to take a family photo for us. My favourite food was the lamb briyani which I had ordered to be cooked hot for my taste and it truly was 'hot' and what a treat it was! My tongue was tingling but I really enjoyed it. The samosa and chicken tikka entrees were the right portion and delicious. We also enjoyed the dessert platter of gulab jamun and mango and pistachio kulfi (Indian ice cream). We will return for more meals. A big thank you to the staff for their friendly service
Food quality is not good staff is not good.
Please close your restaurant if you not give good service to your customers or not serve good food.
You must close your restaurant you create negative feedback to Indian restaurant or foods.
What a pleasant restaurant, close to home! Great food, nice folks, and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended for dine in, or take aways!
I have been to many places in canberra in search of tasty Indian cuisine but finally i got what i was looking for. Very delicious and tasty food n service of the restaurant in very overwhelming, you should definitely give try u will love it.
Awful Service from start, Me and my wife left without eating, the staff working at the time seems upset, rude, not welcoming, they don't no how to deal with customers. I have been in Australia for past 7 years and never had experienced such rude service. I feel pity for the owner, because of some of his workers he has to loose customers who never go back.
Great food especially the appetisers. The service is one of the most friendliest I have seen. Definitely recommend
Its very sad to see the negative fake reviews of this place. There was a group of folks who were just asked poiltely by the owner that they cant share food with other two people beacuse of the individual plate system.
The specific group of 4 only ordered 2 plates and started eating as it was meant to be only for 2 people.
Now so many khans are posting fake bad reviews who never even visited the restaurant.
As a regular customer never seen these people in there before.
