"I recently dined at Cucina Ristorante in Nicholls, ACT, and it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was cozy, the service attentive, and the menu offered a variety of delicious Italian dishes. I particularly enjoyed the pasta, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The staff was friendly, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. While prices were reasonable, the quality of the food justified every dollar spent. I would definitely recommend Cucina Ristorante for a satisfying Italian dining experience. "

It’s clear that this restaurant has changed owners recently. Placed an order for 4 pizzas recently and they were the worst pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Fresh ingredients weren’t used in the pizza toppings and one pizza only had toppings across one half of the pizza.
Sad as this use to be a good quality local authentic Italian restaurant. Won’t rush back.

The garlic bread is just a Turkish bread (that comes in frozen) from coles/woolies cut in half with cheese on it, the pasta sauces are the Latina fresh sauces from Coles/Woolies re heated, do not waste your money here. It is honestly offensive that they try to pass this off as cooking. This is assembly of packet food, not cooking.

We can’t rate this little suburban gem highly enough.
Our family ate here for the first time the other night on a recommendation from a friend - 3 generations, a few allergies and an older family member with mobility constraints. They happily accommodated us all.
The restaurant is clean and friendly. There’s plenty of room - you don’t feel as though the neighbouring table might join your conversation.
The food was excellent! - tasty, fresh, well presented and served in a timely manner.
We wish it was our local! We’ll definitely be back.

I don't know why we have never been here before. A taste sensation and perfect Italian restaurant where we celebrated my daughters 15th Bday.the meals were large but not excessive and super tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed the gnocchi but not before a few entree's consisting of the Caprese Salad, Arancini and Bruschetta.the home made bread for the bruschetta fire roasted in their pizza oven was amazing.

The mains we tried were pastas. The Orecchiette, Lemon Chilli linguini and the Penne Arrabbiata were great.the penne was a littlie spicy for my girls but if you ask to tone that down if you so wish is a perfect dish either way - they still ate every bit of it.

Definitely coming back to try the pizza if the bruschetta bread is anything to go by.

Absolutely delicious Italian food!
I ordered the truffle/mushroom pasta off of the specials board which was the absolute highlight of the night and a vegetarian pizza which also lived up to expectations!
I’ll 100% visit soon and will recommend any day of the week!

Yummy food, great service. They were flexible with our booking and even helped us search for a lost phone after they were closed.

This is one of my best restaurants in Canberra. Whenever I travel to Canberra, I always visit this place. The Food is outstanding, staffs are very professional and friendly. Best wishes to Cucina.

We ordered two pastas from this place (with new owners running the restaurant) on 19th May, 2023. We were told that both dishes will be available in 20 minutes and when I arrived there, they made me sit there for another 20-25 mins because they were running late. On the way out they did offer me a desert as free item for which I said no and I didn’t take it. Both the pastas were very poor in quality. It did not taste like a pasta but had too much of tomatoes/curry flavour to it which made it taste like a curry rather. Our experience with this place under new management was terrible. We also called them back that it has just ruin our dinner as we drove all the way back home with so much of anticipation of good Italian food. When we provided the feedback the restaurant manager upon checking with the new owners offered us the refund ($54.89) and apologised. They asked for bank details which we did send on their provided mobile number but unfortunately the refund was never honoured. Since, 19th May we have been waiting and finally decided to provide the feedback of our experience on this portal.

I had a great Time on a Cucina Restaurant. Food was great. Best Steak i ever had. Service staff are very friendly and food also arrived on time.if u want to have a good time and try a good italian food then this is the best place to go in canberra.

Pizza was excellent! But the garlic bread was dry and unchewable - must have been left in the warmer for hours.

What a great little restaurant with the freshest food, great location and friendly, helpful staff. We will be back here for all of the above!

The pizzas here are fantastic. Highly recommend the bianco, we get two every Friday and it’s the best tradition.
