I would recommend this wonderful playground for all ages! There are various new equipment including some fitness machines. A big hamster wheel is quite interesting. My kids love to go around the wheel while try to keep them balance. Also a small bike track surrounds the area for kids around 3-5 to learn road safety. Two big slides and several small slides available for kids to explore. There are also lawn areas and BBQ facilities. Toilets are also available; however, quite dirty at the time we stay there.
Highly recommend for kids from 3years old to adolescent.

The design of the landscape makes it difficult for parents to keep a watchful eye on the children.

Seems to have everything: open grassed space where some teens were practicing rugby, climbing & play equipment for children, “race track” path, table tennis tables (BYO paddles and ball) basketball court is also a soccer pitch, cricket net, gym/exercise equipment.
Electric BBQ (BYO cleaning & cooking gear), chairs and tables under shade at various places.
Community Noticeboard.
Only one toilet was unlocked when we were there. Water refill station nearby.

Such a great place to take the kids after school or on the weekend. It is always hard to find parking so that speaks for it's popularity.

It has some BBQ facilities which are pretty clean for park BBQs

I think it's the best play ground in Canberra. Since it's at the top of hill, it was quite windy. Could be better if there are more seatings.

Great park for a range of ages with a good swing set for babies and nice big slides for toddlers with or without parents too. Toilets, bins, a community board and oval for kicking a ball or flying a kite too, grass used to be luscious but is all dead now. The only reason I remove a star is safety - you cant oversee the playground from any one spot, so if you set up a picnic and your toddlers want to run off and play, you need to get up and follow them around in order to actively supervise. There are no gates and roads all around as well. But overall well kept.

The playground that has everything? Yes! Most things that kids and adults truly love are on this playground. This playground sits on top of a hill and is visible from quite afar. It's main colour theme is yellow and red. There is a huge array of play equipment from slides, climbing ropes, a climbing tower, net round swings and there are shaded parts of the playground. There is also a kids bike and scooter track that they can use to explore various parts of the playground. The track has stop signs, pit stop signs, directional arrows, lanes and a finish line. However, unique to this playground is the hamster wheel.

There are picnic areas which are shaded and nearby toilet facilities. There are also barbecue areas for cooking up snags, burger patties and steaks.

There are also a number of sporting facilities including a fenced off basketball, there is a soccer/football field nearby and cricket pitches and two table tennis tables.

For a kids perspective and a review and rating of this playground please search for "Playground Hunter goes to Moncrieff Playground CANBERRA" in youtube.

Can't ask for more!

Toilets, BBQ, place to play, looks to various equipment, lots of different sports court and cricket cages. Sadly being new and on a hill it's a little cold in winter when the wind blows and hot in summer in the heat of the day

Great for kids young and old. There's table tennis tables, exercise equipment, basketball courts, an oval, a playground, climbing things, BBQs and the pathways are set up like roads, so bring your little ones scooters.

Fantastic park for kids. Lots of play equipment, convenient toilets. However, being on a hill, it's freezing when windy, so dress warmly.

One of the best playgrounds for kids both young and old in the ACT. Worth the drive. Has toilets and bins! Something not to be taken for granted these days.
