Capital Region Farmers Market reviews
50A traditional market where you can find fresh fruits and vegetables. Besides, you can have a breakfast from different stalls there.
Lots of local stuff.all good. Some more expensive than others. I got some Carrots, Bread and tomato plants.very happy
Mostly fresh produce with good coffee. Price is slightly higher than supermarket but good value for money.
Good range of stalls. Very friendly stall owners. Very busy when I went, so get there early
Excellent place to visit on Saturday morning, ample parking, toilets available.
Good assortment of local foods, including fish and meat, veggies, fruits. Baked food, coffee, breakfast, you name it.
I have taken a lemon meringue from one stall, and it was the freshest and the most balanced meringue I have tried in a long time. Which is quite a fit because the baker made it sugar free and glutein free, recommend - "Sweet Business - Healthy Living"
Stallholder numbers down.
Can't beat the "know the producer" experience.
Wonderful variety and great to support local. Quite cold though, could use some of those outdoor heaters
I love farmers markets and I've been to enough of them to know this one great. For a start they had lots of parking and thats a plus for me. All the usual foods on offer.fresh fruit, organic fruit and veges, bread, small goods, eggs straight from the farm, cheeses etc. A spot for eating breakfast. A busker entertaining everyone. Loved the atmosphere ️
Love this market.
Variety of fresh produce, meats and bakery goods.
Local and surrounding small businesses.
Tgus is first time i visited and it was shocking to see vegetables price in farmers market is doubled thank Super market price.
I bought mandarins it was best taste
Still one of my favourite places in Canberra. Although masks would be good at the moment. Always great to have a chat with the producers. Missing John and Marion though.
Great markets weekly on a Saturday morning with lots of fresh groceries and meat options. Totally recommend it. Lots of food options too. Regards @fooderarri
A wander around is a great way to start a weekend. Lots of variety and plenty of delicious foods
Great market. Highly recommend coming here when in Canberra. Open Saturdays. Wonderful produce to buy. Watch where the locals are buying their goods and do the same. Where there is a line, get onto it before you miss out.
Murry River smokehouse, was a winner for me. They had more product's on offer here than instore as a harris farmers market. These guys make no additive small goods and is heaven sent for those who cant eat certain additives.
Fresh meat available, fresh fruit and vegetables, lots to chose from. Bakeries offering different treats. Food to eat available. Coffee's available.
Tilba Diary, with their jersey milk also is present with their awesome milk shakes.
Love the variety of foods on offer, quick meal options on site and atmosphere. Even in winter it's worth the trip for the great yummy goodies that are available.
Dilliro Vegetables is the best shopping spot every week.
Fresh vegetables and some fruits.
Stall 56/59
The Capital Region markets have a wonderful range of fresh produce including Doms italian wood fired bread, bagels, patisserie pastries, eggs, small goods, meat, poultry, seafood from the coast, wonderful Wagonga coffee plus alot more.
You will be greeted with a friendly face and great service, well that's been my experience, and the advice is get there early as things get snapped pretty quick.
Would thoroughly recommend the Capital Region markets
Amazing amount of fresh local produce, meats, fish, and local made products. Lovely to be able to access such fresh veg and fruit when unavailable in the main supermarkets.
Why wouldn't you support local producers? The basics of meat and veggies are covered. So are milk, coffee, kransky.)
