Capital Grind reviews
29Very disappointed Cook gave me avo going off & then slammed the plate down Burnt the chorizo & Shouldn't be in customer service
Hands down the BEST egg and bacon roll I have ever eaten. A must if you're a roll connoisseur
Food wad very fresh and came out quickly. Large variety of options on the menu. The portion sizes were pretty good value for money. Music was a touch too loud.
Capital Grind’s Bacon & Egg Roll was the best I’ve ever tasted. It was huge, tasty and juicy. Their large Cappuccino was full strength. And they open at 6: 30 AM
Quality. Nutritious. Value for Money.
I had smashed avo with poached eggs and bacon- it looked great and tasted even better! Beautiful earl grey tea also!
Service was friendly and quick
Capital grind cafe
Is nice and easy food to taste it lovely experience to taste for first time I will come in again soon
Large menu with options to suit everyone. Everything is good value for money, and there's a good choice of specials. It was quiet when we visited but the service was very swift and friendly. Coffee and milkshakes were great and everything was fresh and hot.
Quiet Saturday morning with the tables not even half full. Ordered a long black coffee and Surf & Turf Benedict breakfast dish for something different.
Took exactly 30 minutes just for the coffee to come out after paywaving. Breakfast came out 5 mins later. Breakfast was cold, poached eggs were firm, hollandaise sauce all split. Toast was good ️. Coffee was good.
Table near me who ordered before me also waited around the 40 minute mark for milkshakes, 2x breakfast dishes and some muffins from the cabinet (the kids’ milkshakes came last).
Service was friendly enough. Timing is all just way off which made for a disappointing experience. Perhaps they were short-staffed. I will say that it’s quite cheap though - $27.50 for the coffee and Benny dish. Wouldn’t go back though.
Really enjoyed my French toast here. They use a heavier type of bread, rather than a fluffy white bread, which made it more filling. Nice with the caramelized bananas and the strawberry, plus the maple syrup. Mmmmm!
Had a berry smoothie, which was only ok as I found it a bit bland and not as thick as I expected.
Great customer service, delicious food and coffee. Going to Capital Grind Cafe makes my day!
Quick and easy! Simple and very affordable menu if you want breakfast before the day starts. Big array of breakfast options and easy to find a dish for any dietary requirement.
If it could possible I m not giving any single star but that’s for only food. I usually go there for food don’t know what happened where is sunny? Food was all right but the coffee and service was not like it used to be …. Lady was too rude was pretending to be polite but not exactly. Some friendly faces still there but not sunny who used to make a good coffee to start a fantastic day. Please try to keep same quality.
Fantastic coffee and banana bread love it
The staff is amazing! Specially the manager (cant remember her name)
Very friendly
Happy with service!
Always coming back for coffee and egg bacon roll
Does what it does very well. Regularly get the burger chips and drink special. Food comes out quick, quality is decent and the place is very clean. Would recommend.
Capital Grind is my go to for a coffee when I am in the office. The customer service is always excellent and they always remember my name and preferred coffee. They have a good range of choices for lunch and it is a great spot for simple, tasty comfort food.
Came up to CBR to catch up with a mate last night, so went looking for a cooked breakfast that wasn’t the $45 outrage at the hotel! So now I’m sitting here with my 2nd flat white for the morning.quietly taking the satisfaction from their big breakfast which I must say was excellent and well priced - nicely toasted/fried sourdough, poached eggs, tomato, perfect hash brown, bacon and chorizo.it normally has avocado too but I asked it be left out (personal pref).
It’s in the top 5 cafe breakfasts I’ve ever had! Everything was perfectly prepared, fresh and importantly, hot! Nice, pleasant service. Don’t let people the decor deter you - yes, it’s simple and low key, but that is its charm. Heartily recommend this place and look forward to coming back!
Great coffe, tasty food and the service is 5 out of 5. Sonny remembers not only your name but your order and is consistent in the product/s he and his staff deliver.
This place has a warm atmosphere!
The staff are friendly, the coffee is great and you feel right at home. Great location!
Best coffee in this part of the city and delicious bacon and egg roll. It comes on a very fresh, soft bun with a tasty relish.
Great food and great pricing, I have dined here many times and have found the best time to go is between 8am and 11am. The coffees and chai lattés are great and not powdery too. Everyone that works there is always super friendly too.
