We can't praise the staff highly enough for their service and hospitality. The food was great and well presented. The staff made the night a pleasure, nothing was too much effort, we will definitely be back.

Canteen is one of the best places in Canberra to eat. The food is amazing and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The whole set up is fantastic. My partner and I regularly go here and recommend it to everyone we can.

We've eaten here a number of times with our family.
I feel Canteen has the most flavoursome ramen we've tried in Canberra. Canteen also have a variety of vegetarian & vegan options, share plates, and a kids menu.

Hopefully one day Canteen creates a child sized ramen for the "kids menu". Our children are constantly eating ours after they've eaten their own dishes.

Coffee is great, just wish the serve were larger for the price.

Place opened last November and adds more dining options to this area of town.
In a bright and airy decor classic ramen are beautifully served and has the tasty flavours and textures.
The caramel cream was outstanding. Hope there will more Japanese desert choices soon, dorayaki would be nice. Coffees available.
Lots of alcoholic drink options, though a little pricey.

The ambiance of 'Canteen' is breathtaking, featuring a fusion of modern industrial design with natural elements that create a fresh and inviting atmosphere. It was the perfect setting to find my birthday Zen before indulging in an exceptional meal.

We had the pleasure of trying several dishes, and we highly recommend the Pop Shrooms, the spicy pork (dry noodle dish), and the egg sando. The drinks were also excellent.

On our second visit, we were pleased to find that the quality of the food remained consistently high. We savored the delicious tsukune (chicken meatball skewers), the chicken Katsu sando, and the Dan Dan Egg, each cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.

Had my anniversary here and it was everything we wanted. We sat at the bar seat where the chef serves and explains the dish to you which we absolutely love. We ordered the Tsukune, Chawanmushi, Hot Daddy ramen, and the creme caramel dessert along with the YUZUSHU and TENGUMAI sake. I'd recommend all of them. Definitely coming back for more.

Big fan. Canteen is one of the most consistent venues I’ve ever been to. Excellent food and vibes.

Amazing food in a cool location. Menu has clearly marked dairy free, vegan etc. Has QR table ordering, which is so handy. I had the home made pickles - tsukemono.
The fried mushrooms were the table favourite, so delicious. Also had the vegan rice bowl. The sake list is really impressive, we had a really delicious one, that I’ll seek out again.

This is my favourite place to go to in Canberra.

And the other night we got to show it to a few more people who in love it also.

Service is great and the meals are amazing.

This is hands down the best ramen I’ve had. So much flavour, the pork just melts in your mouth. Also the Dan Dan egg was absolutely delicious!

Efficient service. Not quite like service in a restaurant but when you ask for help they come, but if you ask for food recommendations I have a feeling the waiters probably won't know much. The chicken ramen is however a disappointment - it used to be so good - the soup was just pure chicken flavour - that was what set them apart previously. Now I can't taste the chicken, only the salt. Now the ramen is nothing special.

So, so delicious! Ramen noodles were superb and all vegetarian too. Flavours amazing. Brilliant staff.

There is a lot to be said about making complex things look simple. On arrival we felt welcome, the atmosphere is relaxed in a warm inviting wooden interior, staff move quietly, efficiently, effortlessly. The kitchen is calm, well run and soothing to watch. Every aspect just.moves fluidly. I had Tokyo Bird, my Monster had the Chicken Katsu rice bowl. To be able to slowly, quietly savour our food, delicious, flavourful, beautifully made and presented food was an absolute delight. To watch the person you are with have a wonderful experience also adds another level of enjoyment. Trying to gently shush your Monster, who is literally "Nom- noming" his meal, my meal, eyes wide In a flavour explosion brings me such joy. In a world where there is so much noise, hustle and bustle, loud, brash, in your face blustering, this was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. We will be returning for sure. Thank you, each of you for all the subtleties, the nuances, the little details. They were all noticed and really appreciated.

So glad to see Ramen Daddy finally have their own place. Loved the self order facility using the QR Code. The ramen is at its best quality as always. Loved it and will be coming back more often.

Great ramen! A lovely authentically modern Japanese ambience. Friendly efficient staff. Think we’ll make it a weekend tradition.

The food was amazing! Normally I can take or leave ramen but this was next level! The service was very professional but not quite as attentive as it could be. The atmosphere was a bit.odd, Canteen is inside an office suite and we took an exterior table. It definitely doesn't feel like an up market restaurant but the food definitely is!

I shall certainly be returning.
