People come from all over Canberra for this cafe. Great coffee, great food and a friendly atmosphere. Always something new and lots of vego, vegan and gluten free options. Love it!

I’m working my way through the menu and have not had an ordinary meal yet. Fantastic cafe. This is the tomato stew (yum). They have one of the best carrot cakes too.

Cafe Mamé has become my regular spot to grab a weekend breakfast for two simple reasons - delicious food and wonderful staff. From the moment you walk in the door the staff are warm and courteous. The menu is small, but everything I have ordered was prepared with care, using fresh ingredients. I don't drink coffee, but the number of orders being shuttled out the door by customers tells me it must be pretty good!

My local cafe, super cute and relaxed. Amazing food and coffee, which are well-priced for what is offered. The staff are also super lovely and always serve you with a smile. It can be a bit busy at times but the atmosphere is good!

Waited 25 minutes for my takeaway coffee on a Saturday afternoon. When it finally arrived, my standard sized keep cup was only half full.
There wasn't a cue of people waiting for takeaway so not sure why it took that long and not sure why my cup wasn't filled!
Pretty disappointed.

Menu is short but is all you need really. The food was exceptional. It was simple, tasty and everything you expect from a modern cafe. The coffee however was quite bitter and the wait times weren't great either as it was approx 35 mins for our meals. Regardless, the food was terriffic and I'll defintely be making another trip there again.

Anyone who has been to Mame will tell you how good it is.
Aside from the great coffee is the best food you will get anywhere.
I had the Prawn omelette yesterday - a gastronomic delight.

Cafe Mame is a suburban Cafe nestled into Melba shops. It is, however, far more. It has a bright, relaxing modern decor with a great rotation of music playing in the background. The menu is different to your normal suburban cafe - and it is amazing. There is a wider variety of dishes to choose from meaning you can satisfy almost any craving or desire whenever you visit. The staff are always friendly and the service is very attentive and perfectly timed. I highly recommend this Cafe!

Very popular Cafe at Melba, and that's no surprise. Excellent coffee and great service, even when sitting outside at the park tables.

So glad this place opened! Delicious coffee and really yummy food, especially the waffles and freshly made pastries and donuts. Very well priced too and enough seating for a local cafe in and out. Also a toilet which is useful when you have children with you.

It's so great having such a quality Cafe in Melba. The desserts are freshly made which adds a lot to the experience and level of freshness. The staff is great, too. Love this place.

Ive been there twice and both my experience in this place is great. They have special menu everytime. Amazing food and homemade dessert! I could feel chef put lots of effort and passion on the food but coffee would be better if it is bit hotter.
Place is very modern and staffs are friendly. Super lucky for the local who could go easily.
