30You will be happy with the duck. You will be surprised by the Beijing beef. But for me, the most astonishing part of having a dinner here is always about Lily's passion. She seems alwasy welcoming, helping, mastering everything in her queendom and never gets tired.
Great little restaurant tucked away at the back of Hawker shops.
Food is always nice and staff are friendly.
Recommended.
The only authentic Peking Duck Roast in Canberra by far. A bit pricey but definitely worth it.
The food & the service is amazing. Lily is a one-women show. Best Chinese food in Canberra.
If you are into authentic Chinese cruise and are curious about regional dishes, then ask for the special menu in addition to the normal menu.

Best ducks in Canberra. The reception lady is super nice and friendly. The price is not low but definitely worth it!
Waiting for 40 minutes and all recommended courses are fried. Not really good and the price was ridiculous. The only recommendation is the Beijing duck.
It’s a terrible experience.
1. Too Slow! Friday night only 4 tables. I waited for more than 30min then got 2 dish. One dish was not coming at all time. Waitress told me that dish wan not finished when I paid the bill.
2. I ordered before another table but they served that table before me.
3. Waitress blamed me not to tell them to cancel the dish that is not coming when I paid the bill. But actually, I told another waitress. Only two of them serving restaurant but communication is not good.
Never back to this restaurant again!
Not quite worth the money. Even there was tables left without any reservation sign. The staff still wanted us to seat in a small temporary table in the corner. The dishes were normal and the owner was too aggressive and always tried to decide everything for the customers
I ordered $94 worth of food. My first order with Beijing. It did not come. I phoned the restaurant snd they were not interested. I will never use them again. Dont trust them.
Ordered takeaway dish (Sat) which was inedible. Returned Sunday but no refund. Beijing House suggested I call order app for refund ($29) Order app flicked me back to Restaurant which rudely hung up on me. Very bad service and attitude.
This is my top 1 Chinese food in Canberra. The Beijing duck and fish dumpling are highly recommended.
Oh no this was our go to chinese restaurant, we have been having their food for well over 10 years every time it's been amazing. Not now. They have changed the size of the spring rolls they dont look hand made anymore. The dry chilli chicken was so salty it was enedible. Mongolian lamb was half full and the cashew chicken had no flavour. We are so disappointed
Ordered a delivery through their own delivery service EASI. If you are thinking about it don't. We received a meal that was prepared at 6: 30pm (noted on the receipt) and delivered to our door at 7: 20 congealed and cold, and frankly pretty unappetising. When I called to complain I was directed back to EASI whose only solution was to offer a discount voucher.and that process took 20mins. I am unlikely to ever eat there again.
From staff: “It’s not raw. It’s medium rare. ”
A medium rare Peking duck. Why not just say it’s Peking duck sashimi?

Was staying in Canberra for the week and really had no idea what was good or bad. We gave this restaurant a whirl and were not disappointed. Amazing food and service.
1 star goes to Peking Duck. It was a happy dinner until one of the staff came to our table asking “How much longer time would you like to sit here? During COVID-19 we actually only allow 2 hours dining time but you guys have sit here for more than 4 hours. ” Please remember to put a sign on the table before complaining with your customer next time.
Nice dumplings, friendly service, clean and not too crowded, but nothing revolutionary or extraordinary.
Dropped in at 7pm on Sunday night. Asked for a table for 5. Was greeted with a long drawn out"Oh my God. " There were 4 tables set for 4 and 1set for 5. The 5 table was booked for 7.30. We didn't mind pulling a 5th chair to a table set for 4. The waitress rushed down the front. Then came back. "You can eat here, pointing at the table for 5. "If you eat fast! "
What a dreadful customer service mentality and attitude. Wouldn't go back there if you paid me! It's all too hard for them. Went to another Chinese restaurant very near by next suburb. Wonderful friendly greeting, service food and better prices.
