Baan Latsamy

"Ordered vegetable soup, fried rice, and puffs but was deeply disappointed. The packaging was the worst I've encountered, with the soup leaking into the plastic cover. A total letdown.

The pad thai I got was one of the worst. No peanuts or sprouts. No flavour, no taste. It was not pad thai at all.

The spring rolls ordered did not arrive after delivery by Menulog. I called the restaurant and they said they had been packed but could not do anything about it because they were too busy. So either they did not pack them or the Menulog delivery driver stole them. Won’t be using Menulog again or ordering from this restaurant.

We have dined here a few times. Food is delicious. The most recent visit was on a Saturday. It was very busy and they did not appear to have sufficient staff. However the waiter who did serve us (Alex) was courteous and provided a good customer service. We would recommend Baan Latsamy.

Amazing food, and helpful staff. Always a pleasure coming here and will never go a day without some delicious food everytime.

Won't go back there again. Not authentic Thai food. They used stir fry meat instead of diced meat in everything. There are many better Thai restaurants in Canberra.

We ordered the food at around 6pm and waited until 7: 30pm still not food arrived, called the restaurant, they said nothing to do with them. Of course it has to do with them as they are the service provider. The delivery finally arrived almost 8 pm where we try to go out and get new food as we are extremely hungry to find the the delivery guy drove to the drive way and left the food at the post box.in the cold.if we were not going out trying to find food, we wouldn't have known that the food has arrived. The food is horrible. Tom Kha is not Tomkha it taste like water from the washed pot of TomKha. I wouldn't order from this restuarant again. If you know Thai food. This restaurant doesn't at all presenting Thai food.

We ordered via Menulog. Took sooooo long. Called up and was told 5 mins but it took another 40mins. Food was cold. Also ordered Massaman and got Satay. Not a great experience.

Excellent flavour for lunch special. They were happy to make things vegan. Best Thai lunch I have had in Canberra.

Pretty nice. I had the massaman curry and the fried tofu. The place was clean and well maintained. Service was quick, and the food came out pretty quick too.

My green curry was obviously reheated from frozen as the sauce had seperated. It did have plenty of chicken in it but few vegetables. I make better at home.

Ordered a beef Mussaman Curry via Uber eats. Its like coconut soup very bland no flavour or spice 3 small pieces of meat, 2 potatoes, no peanuts. Worst Thai food I have had in a long time. Will not order from there again nor would I recomend.

We ordered from here on menulog and they had trouble finding a driver, so instead we decided to drive down and eat in.
We were so pleasantly surprised with the service and the food. Easily the best Thai food I’ve had for a while. Chicken skewers are so commonly over cooked and dry that it’s just the standard I expect - here they were cooked to perfection, soft and chewy. Worth a visit or an online order!

Not sure what the other reviews are about but the food here was pretty good. Nothing amazing, but decent food. Staff were friendly too, although they only had 1 poor server for the whole shift.

I ordered roti bread which we did not receive, and the mixed entree did not have the sauce included, and the delivery driver did not want to know about it. The meal was nice apart from this, but I paid for items we just did not get.

We go often. Friendly staff and superb food. I enjoy the Fresh prawn rolls and fish cake entrees and for mains I love the pork belly. The latter almost have crackling in them. Prices are moderate. They do take away too but we enjoy the stroll around Manuka and grab some ice cream two doors up the road at Gelatissimo (9?).

My husband and I went to Baan Latsamy tonight after Von my husbands friend invited him to go there for dinner and WOW, we have been to a few restaurants in our time together but this above and beyond from the service the atmosphere and the food was superb we have never had anything quite the same 10 out 10 Von to u and ur staff thanks again mate

Friendly attentive service. Food is average for Thai. The were playing Chinese pop music in the background so I’m not sure if this is run by Thais.

Chicken was very tender in the curry. Pad see ew could have used a little more vegetables. Mostly noodles and the lamb. Reasonable priced.

Excellent food and service. Quality ingredients. Good gluten free options. Good covid precautions.
